Ryu coughed, picking the fur from in between his claws. "That foxheart Crone left us in the blame for his own plan," he hissed to no one in particular. He nuzzled an empty moss nest and circled it, plopping down and resting his head on his paws.

"Is it me?" Ryu flicked his tail, smirking. He gave his whiskers a twitch and adjusted his position, now facing Quake and Solar. He perked his ears, hearing commotion outside but ignoring it, seeing as it's not his problem.

Ryu rolled his eyes, pawing at a feather lining the edge of the nest he was laying in. "My dude, I have no clue. A rock?" he offered, not even seeing a rock anywhere near him.

Lynxcloud nodded, following Ivorystar. The rogues had left her completely on edge, reminding her of what had happened in the past, while she was still deputy of EchoClan. When she entered the medicine den, her fur stood on end, waiting for what her leader was going to address. She retired to the shadows in the corner of the den, simultaneously attending to her shoulder wound that she had received from one of the rogues that had ambushed the nursery.

"Everybody's aching legs from that long walk from FireClan?" Ryu suggested, feeling a wave of exhaustion but not wanting to go to sleep, seeing as he was a little wary of what the Clan cats might do to him if he even closes his eyes for a minute.

Weather & General News

The weather is starting to clear and the deep snow that fell over winter is melting, much to the almost-starving Clans' relief. Though cats are thankful for the sunlight, there are still deep tensions within the Clans and worries about their futures, including a certain group that seem to be planning even more attacks on the Clans...

NOTE TO DEPUTIES: It's time to send out the evening patrols!
NOTE TO LEADERS: There will be a Clan gathering tomorrow night in the RP, so make sure this is discussed at some point.

Clan-centric news

Rogues have been captured trying to attack again! They're annoying, but at least they're not trying to kitnap any of the kits like they were before.

Ivorystar looked at the group of cats in the den with her and sighed softly, shaking her head. "Our time for fighting isn't over. SoulClan have said we need to stick together in order to win this battle against the rogues, and by the looks of things, FireClan and FrostClan aren't doing so well in the same territory together."

Snowpuddle nodded as she listened, processing all that information Ivorystar mentioned. “I’m ready to fight when the time comes. And i will prepare any patrols needed.” Snowpuddle said to her leader, her confidence in herself building up once more.

Snakelily groomed Roosterkit, making sure the rogue scent was mostly gone from her kit’s fluffy brown fur. “I hope the rogues don’t come back.” Roosterkit said, looking up to his mother with his brown-amber eyes. “I don’t want anyone to get hurt.”

Seabreeze sat watching the group around her, tail tucked over paws and gaze thoughtful. She glanced at Lynxfang, nodding. "I believe that we should, SoulClan has told us so.We need to address the idea of working together to stop the rogues to the other clans, before the tensions between FireClan and FrostClan become to high for them to work together properly." She mewed. " I suggest speaking to the clan leaders tomorrow night at the gathering about when our next attack should be, and how to go about doing it."

Ryu rolled his eyes at his feuding denmates, sighing dramatically and continuing his game of iSpy with Quake. "Nope, not grass. Try again." he chuckled, glancing to the wrong object to try and throw her off.

Lynxcloud kept her voice soft when she talked now, trying to come to reason with the medicine cat. After all, they had the most spiritual connection with SoulClan, and it was important to listen. "I'm not saying it's a bad idea. It would provide a larger enemy to the rogues, but I don't know how Dapplestar and Redstar will feel about that. You know them."

Ivorystar hummed. "Judging by the looks of them, they're ready to rip each other's throats out. FireClan and FrostClan aren't the same in any way, there's a reason they're fire and ice." She shook her pelt out, then looked at the deputies. "What's been done with those rogues we captured? Maybe we could try and get Onyx's plan out of them."

"But then, like, most cats have broken the code, it's basically just words that they try to cling to, to give them some sort of purpose."

Dreamlotus growled from his spot of guarding. He whirled on the rogues, amber eyes blazing furiously. "What in the name of SoulClan do you want? Stop your damn screeching, you sound like a queen kitting," he seethed.

Rin snorted. Rude, she thought and delicately placed her tail over her paws. "We were just trying to make conversation," she meowed innocently.

"Well then stop wasting my time by screeching," Dreamlotus snapped back with a huff and looked up as Fallendust padded over to take her shift. He stepped away, allowing the sandy tabby to settle down. "They're quite the noisy batch," he warned.

Fallendust rolled her eyes and looked at the rogues. "Sorry about my mate. He's quite.. irritable," she mewed apologetically.

Bluedawn padded over to Fallendust and Dreamlotus. "What, are these rogues giving you a hard time?" she sneered at the strangers, her nose crinkled in disgust.
Aether growled from his spot on the floor of the den, fighting back the urge to get up and sink his claws into her muzzle even if it would kill him. "Buzz off, Clan scum."

"Bluedawn.. please. They might help us now that they've been abandoned by the others," Fallendust mewed, desperate to see any good in the rogues. "Dreamlotus is just a bit irritable today, aren't you, Dreamlotus?" She gave her mate a pointed look to which he shrunk away from.

"Yes." Dreamlotus answered after a long moment before making a quiet excuse and darting off to get away from Fallendust's piercing amber eyes.
