Silverleaf heard Laurelkit, her eyes widening. "Laurelkit! Frostkit!" she yowled, glancing back at Musicstar. "Twolegs have them!"
Poppyfall blinked in surprise before her amber eyes narrowed dangerously. "Say the word and I'll shred those creatures to pieces." she snarled.

Frostkit squeled to get out of Joels grip. She struggled but failed.

Silverleaf stared in horror, her fur fluffing up. "What in Soulclan's name are they doing?!"
"They're going to capture us if we get too close... We have to find a way around them to get Frostkit and Laurelkit." Poppyfall explained, pressing close to her mother to calm the queen down.

The tree started to lean over, close to falling.

A few monsters rolled in. A two-leg with lots of hair on his face called to them.

A couple more bulldozers came. "Good to see you finally here!" yelled the (director?), "We have lots of work to do if we want the woods cleared by Monday!"

Silverleaf growled and made a move to dash forward but Poppyfall stopped her.
"You're not well enough to run away if you need to. I'll go help Musicstar. Shadowpaw!" she called to the apprentice. "If something happens, I want you to get back to camp and warn them. Take Silverleaf and Whisperspirit with you. Coralpetal what're you going to do?" The black and white warrior stood tall, her tail flicking back and forth. She knew she shouldn't be giving orders like this but she didn't have much of a choice if she wanted to protect her parents and the apprentice.

Whisperspirit let out an adamant splutter. "Poppyfall, I can help." he mewed.

"Oh no, don't you even think about it. Because it's Laurelkit, you two aren't going to be thinking straight. I'm not losing you to a stupid mistake, that isn't going to happen. You're going to listen to me and go if things turn bad." she narrowed her eyes, challenging them to disobey her reasoning.
Silverleaf blinked and looked at Whisperspirit, worry evident on her face.

Poppyfall nodded before growling and racing at the twoleg holding Laurelkit. She drew her lips back in a snarl before leaping around his legs, scratching at the cloth that covered them.

Bob yelled, shoving the kit ruffly into the box and slamming it loosely, the door only partially locked. He grabbed a (I can't remember what they're called but the pole thing with the loop) and prepared to catch the cat.

Poppyfall darted to the side, her amber eyes blazing. "Come and get me!" she taunted, weaving between his legs to try and trip him. She always kept one eye on the kits, making sure that the den things they were in stayed put.

Joel muttered something about Bob's incompetence, and grabbed a pole himself after locking the doors to the cage properly.

Laurelkit huddled beside Frostkit, her ears flat as she watched her sister risk herself for them.

Shadowpaw growled to herself, knowing she could help Poppyfall but didnt as she had her orders.
Whisperspirit noticed that between keeping an eye on his elder daughter and his mate. He made a mental note to talk to Musicstar.

OOC: Poppyfall should get captured too...

"Aha!" Joel caught the hoop around Poppyfall's neck, and without knowing it, stepped on her tail too. "Dumb cats."

"No!" Musicstar yowled, leaping at Joel but just then the tree fell and crushed Musicstar beneath it.

"Noooooo!" Coralpetal screeched, running to help Musicstar. She tried to push the tree away but it wouldn't budge.

"Musicstar!" Poppyfall tried to keep yowling but the loop around her neck was starting to choke her as Joel pulled on it to lead her to another crate. "S- Shadowpaw, go!"
Silverleaf's eyes widened and she stared between the kits, Musicstar, and Poppyfall. After a split second decision, she raced toward the leader, knowing that she could only help her.

Shadowpaw wreathed around Bob's legs, trying to get him to move.
