Hawkpaw did so happily, she kept her paw steps soft as she twitched her ears to listen around her. She looked up wondering where she would find one, a jerk of a branch caught her attention.

Hawkpaw looked at the tree beside her, a look appeared as she thought of climbing. She padded close than climbed up slightly faster than she thought, a rustle of leaves made her follow along a branch towards the dark feathery bird that lie behind it

Brindlestripe groomed her brown fur, occasionally checking on her apprentice. She knew she shouldn't be, but she was already confident in her apprentices hunting skills.

Hawkpaw kept steady on the thin branch , her hind legs kept up with a strong hold as she stepped slowly. She focused her gaze before leaping slightly to take down the bird, both fell to the ground though Hawkpaw swiftly killed it and purred," I did it Brindlestripe!"

Brindlestripe rose to her paws and padded over to where her apprentice was. "Fantastic!" She purred. "Though one wonders how you can keep your balance on a branch like that and not in battle." She teased with a twinkle in her eye.

Once Moon had finally figured out how to remove the thorn, she heard a fluttering nearby. She looked to see a Blue Jay, and went to pounce on it. Its fluttered right where Hawkpaw and Brindlestripe where before as Moon pounced on it.

Snake shivered, padding into the hollow. He scraped at the sand and carried a starling in his jaws from a previous catch.
OOC: Snake is short for Snakepaw. Also, I skipped the hunting part with the starling. RP with me! :3

Sadpaw followed them into the hollow, panting.
"I'm here! Man, for older warriors, you're pretty fast!" she joked, still breathing heavily from running.

Cinderpelt purred. "Heh, I'm faster then him." she flicked her tail at Ashmoon.
"Well I'm faster then you." Darkcloud teased, not feeling cold for once. I smell dog... oh well, it's stale. she thought. "Ready?" she mewed. Then Darkcloud lifted her nose into the air, and scented a mouse. She stalked it, then pounced, killing it with a swift nip. Then she put it down. "Pile of prey here." she mewed.

Cinderpelt nodded to Ashmoon. The she-cat lifted her nose into the air, and sniffed out for some prey. She located a blackbird above them, and pointed to it with her tail. Ashmoon nodded, and stalked it, pouncing and killing it. They twisted their tails together and purred, Ashmoon putting down the blackbird.

Sadpaw lifted her nose and scented dogs, but ignored it and stalked a starling that had let down and was pecking at some sunflower seeds. She leaped onto it, locking a quick killing bite onto it's neck, and trotting back to the warriors confidently, her chest puffed out at how she was proud of her first catch of the day.

Cinderpelt purred at how well her daughter had hunted. She sniffed out for a rabbit that was in front of her, and leaped out for it. However, she only thought it was there, it was actually a fox-length to the right. Cinderpelt bowled straight over, into a fox den, where she scented fresh dog. She spotted the creatures drooling over a rabbit, and scrabbled out before they scented her. A piece of dirt fell on the bigger dog's nose, and it followed the she-cat out the tunnel, then the smaller one followed. "DOG!!!" she yowled.

Sadpaw shrieked, remembering her friends death long ago. Sadpaw huddled behind her mother, only to realize that she must avenge her best friends death. She leaped out from behind, scrambling on top of the Great Dane and batting strongly at it's face with unsheathed claws, snarling and baring her teeth.

The pitbull scratched Cinderpelt, and she squealed in pain. Then she saw Sadpaw batting at the Great Dane's face. "Sadpaw!" she yowled. Cinderpelt scrabbled away from the pitbull - who had scratched her again - and leaped up a tree to hide.

Ashmoon jumped onto the Pitbull's back, and bit it, the pitbull battering at him until he fell off. Ashmoon kicked the bitbull, and rolled over when it went after him. The old tom battered at the pitbulls face, and was hit away, banging his head on a tree. "Ashmoon!!!" Cinderpelt yowled. The pitbull hit Cinderpelt away, and bit Ashmoon on the belly. Ashmoon dropped down, the light dimming out of his eyes.

Sadpaw was flipped off the Great Dane, heading straight towards an already bloody tree trunk that Ashmoon had fallen into. She shivered at the gash of blood trickling quickly down her face from her head, but kept on fighting, until she noticed her father, dead.
"No!! Tata!!!!!" she yowled, suddenly feeling dizzy while she hugged and licked him, toppling down onto her fathers belly as she could see the light, losing too much blood from the hard impact into the tree.
She brought one last paw up, then it fell down, and her soul left her body to SoulClan.

Cinderpelt froze, and growled. "Sis, no way you can fight any more." Darkcloud mewed, stubborn. Darkcloud climbed up a tree, and attacked the dogs, the dogs then running for the hills. The she-cat looked at Cinderpelt, and bowed her head. Cinderpelt sat down, and drooped her head and tail. "Him and her..." she mewed, shaking.

Nightpelt nodded, excited to teach his apprentice battle moves. He flicked his tail after a moment of sparkpaw studying the clearing, "we should head to the lat stop, it's getting dark and you don't want to get. Up late tomorrow morning for your first hunt." He meowed with a playful tone as he motioned for her to follow.
