OOC: Well, if Quickstep is trying to get it, it will be scared and vertically fly away like a helicopter for a few seconds.

Flurrynose scanned the clearing and spotted a vole, quickly prowling after it and leaping. She immediately cornered a tree and jumped out from behind, a sly smirk on her face. The vole was soon pinned down and ended by Flurrynose's sharp talon-like claws.

OOC: Bro have you seen a cat catch birds? It's incredible, they leap at an angle, grab it, put it in their mouth, then land. They can defiantly catch a quail without struggle, especially a cornered one. They usually don't because they're too big to eat alone, but since this is a Clan, that's just like an easy feast.

IC: Quickstep felt the struggling bird fall limp under her claws. She let out a "mrow!" of triumph

OOC: Yea, I had one cat when I was younger that killed everything, and I saw her catch quite a few birds.
IC: "I think we might have gotten them all." she whispered, not wanting to frighten anything else that might be lurking.

Fallenpaw purred from her mentors praises.
She blinked as she noticed something up ahead, it was a large black and white creature that she had never seen or heard of before. She tilted her head and pointed her tail towards the creature, hoping flurry nose would tell what it was.

Flurrynose glanced at Fallenpaw and followed where her tailtip was pointing. The she-cat squinted through the slight drizzling snow and saw it.
"Badger!" she yowled, flattening her ears and pushing her apprentice back.

Fallenpaw jumped as her mentor yowled. Woah, geez. Why is she so afraid of a ... Badger or whatever it is? She thought her heard tilting as she stayed calm, looking at the badger in awe.

Quickstep heard their yowls of alarm and turned to see the badger. She froze. The sheer cliffs around her offered no protection and no easy escape.

Fallenpaw shivered with excitement. Something dangerous, and IM going to battle it!THEN flurrynose will tell the story to all the apprentices, who'll finally like me! She thought to herself as she lashed her tail in excitement.

As the badger lumbered closer, it lashed it's fangs at Flurrynose. She raised a paw threateningly and flexed her claws in and out, showing the badger that they were a threat.

Fallenpaw quickly changed her mind as the badger came closer to her sight. It's fangs and claws showed no mercy and it looked much bigger from a closer look. She gulped and shuffled behind her mentor.

Fallenpaw picked up her vole and squirrel and heald them firmly clasped in her jaws. She looked to Flurrynose to gather her prey as well so they wouldn't be drenched by the rain and leave to camp.

Fallenpaw flicked her tail and lead the way ahead confidently with pride. She could show off her catches to the others, then go see her new friend.
