Mudwhisker gave a little nod, showing her he didnt mind hunting with them afterwards. Im guessing that is going to be a very... loud hunting patrol, with so many apprentices. He thought to himself, gazing at them doubtfully.

Ivorystar dipped her head and stretched. "Please do. But we need food too, there's not enough to go around at the moment," she mumbled.

Roseleaf glanced up from the herbs, hearing the den eerily silent. It was only then that she realised Aukletwing's laboured breathing had halted completely. "Hazelflight!" she yelled for her fellow medicine cat, rushing over to the dead warrior.

Aukletwing let out a final sigh, her soul reuniting with Kestrelwing's as she left the labored life of a Clan cat.

Hazelflight rushed at her friend's command, pressing her ear to the warrior's chest. "Her wound had been infected for ages, she's been so sick the whole time..." she mewed, her voice cracking. If only leaf-bare weren't so harsh. If only we had more herbs on our land...

Nettlepaw flattened her ears as she watched the apprentices leave camp and towards battle training to have fun. She glanced up at her mentor, who was still busily talking to the leader and frowned, "Lynxfang can I come?" She questioned, hoping this time she was aloud.

Jadepaw flicked her tail as she jumped out from her nest and after the group, "wait for me!" She called.

Mistpaw walked into the medicine den, only to see her mentors crowded around Aukletwings body. "What happened? She asked, walking forewards. She looked at Aukletwing and looked at Roseleaf. "Did she..."

Whitefeather took an uneasy glance outside. Her kits were apprentices now. She walked out and looked back at the nursery. Oh, how she longed to be in there again, with more kits. Well Whitefeather. Either find a decent mate or sneak off to see Ice again. Wherever he is. She thought sadly, looking down. She went back inside and pretended to be asleep. I want to be in here as long as possible.

Roseleaf hung her head. "We need to tell Ivorystar before she goes on patrol," she gulped. "I don't want to tell her. I don't know what she'll say." I know exactly what she'll say. We couldn't save Aukletwing because I'm useless.

Cherrywind licked Flickerkit's head again, the kit groaning loudly as he tried to wriggle away. "I'm clean, I promise! I just wanna play in the snow!"

Mistpaw swallowed her nervousness. "Uhh.. Ivorystar.. Aukletwing died a few moments ago.." She said, her anxiety growing, making her nervous. She had never spoken to the leader to tell bad news before.

Hazelflight peaked out of the medicine den, accidentally made eye contact with Ivorystar, then ducked back in. She sighed and dipped her head, waiting for the leader to approach.

Mothpaw basked in the sunlight. She'd heard from Crabpaw that a bunch of apprentices had been taken out to train and left them behind, but she didn't mind too much. She felt the warmth fade from her pelt and opened her eyes, finding that the sun had been covered by oncoming storm clouds. Looks like it's gonna snow soon.

Lightningkit's eyes flickered open at the sound of his mother's voice. He grumbled and rested his head on his paws, not wanting to play with his denmates.

Tumblekit rolled across Ryekit's paws, excitedly jumping on the springy moss layering the floor. "Let's play Clan! I want to be the leader!" he mewled.

Whitefluff looked down at her kits. "Oh they are so wonderful!" She said happily. But then she looked down at the tiny she cat whom she had named Flurrykit. Flurrykit looked odd in some way. As if someone had broken all of her bones then lay her down. "Oh no...." she gasped.

Flurrykit let out a tiny wail but her wail was stopped by a violent shudder in her body.

OOC: Don't worry Ill make this as quick as I can. Due to the high amount of kits we needed one that had an illness at birth.

Mistpaw stood and walked out of the Medicine den. She saw Whitefluff with her kits and decided to head over. She walked over and smiled. "Their beautiful, Whitefluff." She felt a bit of sadness, knowing that during these kits birth, A great warrior had passed away. "What are their names?" She then noticed Flurrykit. "That's weird." She walked over and sniffed her. She put her paw on her chest. "Her hearts not beating right..."

Mistpaw turned and walked out over to the Medicine den. She saw that they had a couple pieces of Chamomile left. She picked up two flowers and walked back to the nursery. She nudged it over to the kit. "Here you go."
