Lightningkit stepped forward after his sister, staring up at Ivorystar.

Ivorystar looked down at the kits. "You five have reached the age of six moons and are ready to become apprentices of the Clan. I ask SoulClan to watch over you and guide you to finding the strength and courage of a warrior of BrightClan.
"Petrelflight, you will be mentor to Snowpaw, while Sparrowsong will guide Lightningpaw. Breezepaw, your mentor is Cloudstrike, Jasperheart will mentor Blizzardpaw, and I will take on the duty of mentoring Ivypaw. We have received the best training possible from our previous mentors, and we will pass on all we know to these new apprentices." She touched noses with the newly named Ivypaw, while the Clan cheered.

Breezepaw went over to Cloudstrike. "H-hi." She said softly.

Petrelflight purred and touched noses with Snowpaw. It felt nice to have a fresh start with an apprentice to get her mind off everything.

Jasperheart shyly trotted towards her new apprentice, smiling slightly to make herself look friendlier.

Lightningpaw reached his head up to touch his mentors nose, then backed away, his eyes bright. " whats first! Battle training, hunting, border defense, seeing the territory. Oh! Fighting the other clans? Oh or maybe...." He stopped when he realised he was rambling. " sorry... I talk alot."

Ivypaw couldnt believe her ears. i got. The. Clan. Leader!!! She screemed in her head, but raised her head numbly to touch her mentors nose. She stared up at Ivorystar, her eyes wide with excitment.

Lynxcloud flicked her tail in acknowledgement that the meeting was over. She rounded up some available cats she spotted for a border patrol. "Duskfur, Fawndapple, Nightmoon, Ottersplash, Aurorashade, and Oceanbreeze!" she called. "I need you all for a border patrol. We should make sure FrostClan isn't causing us any trouble."

Fawndapple padded over to Lynxcloud. "Instead of the border patrol should I take some of the more senior apprentices and do some fighting recap stuff?" she asked quietly.

Wavepaw's ears pricked. "Us? Shouldn't we be hunting?"
Risingpaw just shrugged. "Fighting training. Let's go."

Ooc: he's talking to any of the apprentices that weren't just apprenticed. So Sunrisepaw, Thunderpaw, Riptidepaw, Jadepaw, Tornadopaw, Fallenpaw, Sparrowpaw I believe.

Fallenpaw blinked her eyes open drowsily, her soft gray tail curled over her nose, however she quickly started to her paws and padded out the den, smiling as she passed by Risingpaw.

Sparrowsong chuckled, "It's alright. Maybe we can join the border patrol and I could show you around with it?" He suggested with a purr.

Ottersplash perked his ears and padded over to where the rest of the border patrol was, waiting by the entrance, he quickly dipped his head and awaited for the signal to leave.
