BrightClan Camp

Mistpaw nodded and walked out of the nursery. She saw Roseleaf with another cat and kept walking. She sniffed around and found Poppy seeds and Borage. She picked both up and walked back, placing them at her mentors paws. "Anything else?" She asked, her heart racing.

Duskfur nuzzled Whitefluff carefully. "It's going to be alright. No one's going to die, you'll be fine." he said reassuringly, licking her ear.

Cloudstrike nodded, looking over at Nightmoon and flicking his tail. He started heading in the direction of the DuskClan and FrostClan border quietly.

"It'll be fine." Hazelflight mewed, rising up to her paws and gently brushing against Mistpaw. "You're doing great."

Duskfur looked at Whitefluff, fluffing up his fur in an attempt to warm Whitefluff up.

"I want these kits to be healthy and happy. If they aren't,I feel I won't have any reason to keep going." Whitefluff said.

Nightmoon padded into camp behind Cloudstrike. She stopped in the clearing, setting her half of the deputy's body down.

" MOMMMMYYYY" Ivykit called, peeking her head into the nursery. " Mum? What's happened to Boulderheart?"

Cloudstrike set Boulderheart down. "Go tell Ivorystar we retreived him." he said, sitting down beside the body.

Petrelflight's hackles rose as she saw the body. "Oh SoulClan..." she muttered, lowering her head.

Whitefeather shooed Ivykit out of the nursery. "You can't be in here. Whitefluff needs her personal space." She said. "Boulderheart....... I'm afraid he has been killed." She said, her eyes flittering over to the body in shock.

"They'll all be both happy and healthy." Duskfur said softly.

Thunderpaw glared at the body coldly, keeping to the shadows of camp.

Cloudstrike closed his eyes, hoping this really was a dream.

Mistpaw shuffled her paws and looked at Whitefluff. "They will be fine, don't you worry" she said, not believing her own words.

Ryekit stayed quiet in the nest in the corner of the den, being very, very quiet and wondering what was happening.

Cloudstrike lifted his head, standing. He slipped inside of the nursery, sitting down behind Hazelflight.

Thunderpaw watched the body closely. He grew closer.

Duskfur pressed against her cheek. "It'll be fine."

Nightmoon watched the warrior leave the body, and then she turned around. She padded to the leaders den, " Ivoyrstar?" She meowed, peeking into the den.

" K-Killed!" Ivykit yelped, staring at the body. " By what!"

"Little Ivykit." Whitefeather started. "I wish I could protect you longer from this information but I must tell you now." She sighed. "We are at war with the other clans. The other clans murdered Boulderheart." She said the word murderer as if it were venom.


Whitefluff heaved. "I want my kits to be strong." She said. She felt weak. She felt as if she couldn't go on any longer.

Hazelflight sighed, leaning against Whitefluff. "You just have to breath." she reassured the queen with a soft voice. She nudged her a couple poppy seeds.

Whitefluff nodded and licked up the poppy seeds. She took a few deep breaths. Calm down Whitefluff. Do this for your kits.

Duskfur nuzzled Whitefluff lovingly. "Don't give up."

Whitefluff closed her eyes and pushed as hard as she could. A few moments later when she opened her eyes, there were 2 little kits mewling and squirming in front of her.

Hazelflight licked the kits furiously, making sure they were breathing, then moved them closer to Whitefluff. "You're doing great." she whispered.

IC: Whitefluff looked down at her 6(maybe 7) kits. "Thank you Hazelflight. I'm sorry I snapped a lot." Whitefluff said, her eyes still on the kits.

ooc: who needs ceremonies?

ic: Ivorystar stared at the body of Boulderheart blankly, sighing gently before she scrambled to the top of the Startree and settled herself on one of the boughs. "All of the cats old enough to run the moors please join me beneath the Startree for a Clan meeting!" she called.

Hazelflight padded out of the nursery, the adrenaline of everything wearing off and feeling her paws start to drag as she walked.
Petrelflight and Jasperheart trotted to the base of the Startree, whispering to each other.
Aukletwing watched from the medicine den.

OOC: Could sootfur become a elder? I think he may be a bit old.


Mistpaw smiled at Whitefluff. "Youll be a great mother." She turned, shaking back to Ivorystar and walked out, Sitting next to her mentors, Roseleaf and Hazelflight.

OOC: Hm, should i have Skybreeze have her deputy ceremony? The spot is reserved for me, correct? I also have [Only admins are allowed to see this link] who needs his warrior ceremony.

Echokit squirmed around in her nest and perked her ears at the call from the their leader. "What's happening?" She mewed, managing to list herself up on her paws.

Ooc: Sky I was planning to do the deputy ceremony don't worry. 
Anyone else for ceremonies before I begin?

ooc Mudpaw and Barkpaw need to be warriors.

ic: Nightmoon watched her leader walk past her without answered. ok then... She thought, and walked away from the leaders den, and sat down, peering up at the Startree.

Mudpaw and Barkpaw weaved out of the apprentice den, and sat down next to each other.

Ivykit bared her teeth and let her claws slide out. " What pieces of fox dung murdered our deputy!"

Roseleaf glanced up as Hazelflight walked back in. "Aukletwing's getting worse," she warned her fellow medicine cat, her tail flicking in concern.

Mistpaw looked up at the second medicine cat. "What herbs do they need? I could go get them?" She said shyly.

Hazelflight dipped her head. "I figured." she sighed, "Her wound was bad to being with and never really got better. I don't think it's worth raising alarms over, let's just wait until Ivorystar is done with her ceremony."

Roseleaf just nodded, then glanced at Mistpaw. "I don't think it would be worth it. Just go and watch the ceremony."

Ivorystar stood, her tail flicking. "Sootfur, we have already met and discussed your intention to join the elders. Is it your wish to give up your name as a warrior and join them?"

Sootfur nodded. "It is." He had thought of this decision for a while, but he knew his eyesight was getting bad.

Otterpaw's paws twitched in anticipation for his ceremony. He glanced up at the sky and sighed, remembering his brother, Oh, Beechpaw. You were supposed to be here with me.. He thought to himself, images flashing back to his head of when his brother died in the battle with Frostclan and Waterclan.

Ivorystar dipped her head to him. "Your Clan honours you and the service you have given us as a warrior. I wish SoulClan to give you many moons of rest."

My cats cheer and thank Sootfur for his service as a warrior.

Duskfur looked at Whitefluff, then the kits. "They're beautiful," he said quietly, before falling asleep by accident.

Cloudstrike nodded, agreeing with his sister's mate.

Midnightkit watched the body. "If he died he was weak..."

Wolfkit mewed softly, squirming at his mother's belly.

Thunderpaw watched the body.

Ivorystar fluffed her pelt out a little as a fierce wind whipped through their shelter. "Mudpaw and Barkpaw!" she called.

Mudpaw pricked his ears, leaping to his paws and padding into the circle of cats, eyes shining proudly.

Mudpaw's brother, Barkpaw, followed a bit less confident, but his head held high.

Ivorystar shifted a little on her paws. "I, Ivorystar, the leader of BrightClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand and live by your noble Code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. 
"Do you promise to uphold the Code and protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

" I do!" Mudpaw announced, puffing out his chest.

" I do.." Barkpaw meowed clearly, thought his voice wavered slightly at the end.

ooc: Barkwing and Mudshadow, please

ic: Ivorystar nodded. "Then by the powers of SoulClan, your warrior names are Barkwing and Mudshadow." She leapt down and looked them both in the eyes. "SoulClan honours your energy and loyalty, and we welcome you both as full warriors of BrightClan." She rested her muzzle on each of the apprentices' heads.

Otterpaw twitched his tail in anticipation, watching his denmates get their names.

Ivorystar leapt back up on to the Startree and waited until the chanting had died down a little, then raised her tail for silence. "I know it would be bad luck to cast upon a warrior ceremony to mention our fallen Clanmates, but it is necessary. Boulderheart was murdered on our border early this morning, and I wish to inform the Clan of this so no rumours spread." She swished her tail, her eyes narrowed a little. "I trust you all not to worry, as we will get to the bottom of this." She stood, her head held high. "I say these words before the fallen body of Boulderheart, so he may hear and approve of my choice along with the rest of our ancestors. The new deputy will be Skybreeze."

Wavepaw's eyes widened and he glanced at the cat, purring.
Fawndapple was the first to leap to her paws. "Skybreeze! Skybreeze!"

Mistpaw stared up at Skybreeze. It was great having a new deputy. But, sad too, as Boulderheart had been Murdered. Even that thought sent fear through her body. She yelled at the top of her voice: "SKYBREEZE, SKYBREEZE,!"

Skybreeze widened her eyes, shocked by Ivorystar's choice. She quickly rose up to her paws and padded forward and dipped her head, "Thank you, I will be sure to serve the clan with my life." She meowed in awe.
