BrightClan Camp

Ivykit frowned. " she didn't even answer me!" She whined. She flicked her tail angerly. " She called us in here and didn't do anything! Come on let's go back out." She frowned and ran out. " your still it!!" 

Lighteningkit darted after her, tail streeming behind him.

Ooc It was like to see where they were.


IC: "Can I play?" Snowkit asked her siblings hopefully


Whitefeather brought her kit into the den. She dropped her. "Hello?" She mewed.

OOC: o ok

IC: Hazepaw waited patiently, wincing once and a while as something touches him. Why am I so jumpy?

"I'll be right there, Whitefeather," Phoenixmoon mewed, finishing up dressing Skybreeze's wounds. "Now, what's wrong?" she asked Whitefeather, clawing scraps of cobwebs off of her paws.

Skybreeze let out a sigh of relief as the blood was soaked up, but the sharp pain returned and the large loss of amount made her dizzy.

OOC: Who role plays Hazelflight and Roseleaf??

"It's Blizzardkit. She's been sick ever since she was kitted a quarter moon ago. She was always the weakest and the smallest. Nonstop coughing." Whitefeather said, looking at her little scrap of fur


Blizzardkit let out a feeble cough and closed her eyes at the impact of the cough

"Runts are more prone to sickness," Phoenixmoon muttered, sniffing the kit's fur and scented sickness. She turned to her store, grabbing a couple of catmint leaves. "These should help," she mewed, placing the leaves in front of Blizzardkit's muzzle.

"What if they taste bad?" Blizzardkit whimpered feebly, looking at the green stuff in front of her muzzle

"Would you rather be sick?" Whitefeather asked her kit soothingly

"Obviously they don't. Can't you tell by the scent?" Phoenixmoon scoffed. "It's the best tasting herb there is."

Roseleaf watched the young apprentice, almost a medicine cat herself, and purred with amusement. "Blizzardkit, do you know what catmint is?" she asked the small kit, tucking herself down in front of the small kitten.

"No I don't know what catmint is, sorry" Blizzardkit mewed, letting out a cough. "Will it really heal me?"

Roseleaf nodded and purred a little. "I can tell you now, you will like it. It might not be a juicy mouse, but I'll get one of the warriors to bring you one if you keep eating it for us?" She tilted her head a little, nudging the leaves forward slightly.

"Okay.... I guess I'll eat it." Blizzardkit said and lapped up the herbs. She paused for a moment before after swallowing. "It's.... not that bad" Blizzardkit confessed

"Nice job little one" Whitefeather said, licking her kit's head

Roseleaf got to her paws and purred. "We'll give you some more before you go to sleep tonight, and then more in the morning, and then you should be okay." She tapped the kit's head with her tail.

"Roseleaf," Hazelflight chirped inquisitively, "How's Lilytail holding up?"

Roseleaf glanced at the deputy, then led her to the back of the medicine den. "She's sleeping, but not soundly. I may need to visit the Mooncave to see if any of our ancestors can offer guidance."

"It has been a while since we've spoken with SoulClan, come to think of it." Hazelflight muttered, "It might be a bit risky to go on our own though."

Roseleaf nodded. "I agree. We should take a warrior with us."

Why does this weird cat talk in such a static way? SoulClan, I've never had a conversation not about being a medicine cat with her in my life! Hazelflight thought, sort of awkwardly staring at Roseleaf for a second before picking the conversation back up. 
"Yeah, you never know what the other Clans could be planning. Though I doubt they'd dare harm a medicine cat it's probably better safe than sorry." she mewed.

ooc: Poor Roseleaf...a crush doomed to fail....

ic: Roseleaf flicked her tail. "Its insanity what this is doing to the Clans. I don't agree with Ivorystar's ideas. I mean, raiding another Clan? It'll be winter soon."

"Yeah..." Hazelflight mewed, flinching and remembering the fate of her apprentice. Doveflight... she stared at her paws, taking a moment to recover from the deeply buried grief suddenly stabbing through her.

Roseleaf rested her tail lightly over Hazelflight's shoulders, sensing what was wrong but deciding not to mention it would be the best path. She licked her fellow medicine cat's cheek and walked out to find some prey.

Hazelflight took a deep breath and looked up again. SoulClan. They're all in SoulClan now. Everyone I've lost is in SoulClan. I can talk to them, I can visit them, I'll eventually join them. Compose yourself. She padded out of the den after Roseleaf, trying to catch up to her and continue that conversation she'd dropped out of no where.

Roseleaf chose a fat rabbit, purring happily as she sat near the medicine den. "Who should we take with us?" she asked Hazelflight quietly, glancing around at the cats meandering around the camp.

Whitefeather nodded her thanks to Roseleaf and padded out of the den. "Come on Blizzardkit. You need a nap" She mewed

Blizzardkit nodded tiredly

"Not sure." Hazelflight rambled, "We could ask around a little, but I don't want to announce it to the whole camp. Ivorystar has been a little...off lately and...I don't know maybe she'd think something was wrong and insist going herself? It's kind of paranoid but just a hunch."

Roseleaf nodded, offering Hazelflight some of the rabbit. "I agree. We should tell Phoenix to cover for us when we decide to go." She flicked her tail as she thought.

"I don't think anyone else would even be qualified to cover for us," Hazelflight snorted, taking a bite of the rabbit.

Roseleaf purred with amusement. "She'll understand, I think. Especially if it's to save someone's life."

"Yeah," Hazelflight muttered, not sure how to respond. Ugh.
Aukletstorm padded towards the pile, and sat down near the medicine cats, flinching has her unhealed belly wound hit the ground.

Whitefrost exited the Warriors den, picking out a fresh, plump vole from the kill pile. "Greetings, Roseleaf, Hazelflight." he dipped his head in acknowledgment.

Skybreeze sat in the medicine cat den, waiting for the medicine cats to continue helping her and Hazepaw with their wounds after Blizzardkit. She peeked out the entrance and saw Whitefrost, instantly jerking her head back in fear that Whitefrost would catch her looking at him.

Phoenixmoon padded up to her fellow medicine cats with a sigh. "Roseleaf, you're so good with kits," she mewed, shaking her head. "I honestly can't stand them! They act like herbs are gonna kill 'em! Anyways, I couldn't help but overhear the conversation. You want me to cover for you guys?"

Lightningkit stopped and turned around, trotting to Snowkit." yeah. and." He purred as he shoved her slightly. " YOUR IT!" He yowled as he darted to Ivykit, who was standing at the other side of the camp.

Ooc: CoMiNg OkAy. Medicine cats have important business to talk about, I'll be there in a minute.

"Hehe!" Snowkit giggled. She raced towards the other side of camp, her slim, long legs propelling against the dusty ground. Dust bloomed in her wake

IC: Lilacpaw bounced over to the fresh-kill pile, picking up a rabbit and chewing it slowly, looking around for her mentor so she could do training practice?

OOC: anyone got a mentor?

Starkit flinched, then realized the other kits were playing tag. Starkit got up, and bounded away, to the other side of camp. The tiny kit shivered a bit, and continued running. Then came to a halt. Starkit watched the camp. Ready for action

Cherrypetal dropped the fresh kill into the pile. Then padded to the warriors den. She wasn't looking where she was going. So she bumped into *Fill in*.

Ivyheart was still looking for her mate. She sighed. "Where is he?" She padded along the clearing, waiting for Foxeye to meet her eye.

Molepaw peeked out of the apprentice den, looking for Oasispaw. When he suddenly smelled her. He turned around, and saw her sandy fur appear from the corner.

Oasispaw flicked her tail, then meowed to Molepaw. "Good morning Molepaw, what are your plans for today?" She asked. Purring, she was happy to be with her best friend.

Skybreeze huffed and sat back on her haunches, waiting for the medicine cats to return. She glanced at Hazepaw, her apprentice, "Everything doing alright? You look a bit...uh, shocked." She meowed, worried for her apprentice's health and safety.

Tigerpounce let out a surprised gasp as he was bumped into by a cat. He looked up to see Cherrypetal's embarrassed face and got up, twitching his whiskers. "Are you blind?" He asked with a mrow of amusement.

Cherrypetal flattened her ears, then flicked her tail. "No, I'm not blind. I just wasn't looking where I was going. Sorry, Tigerpounce." She meowed confidently.

Molepaw answer Oasispaw quickly. "Probably doing some training. I only just turned to an apprentice, ya know?" He meowed, twitching his whiskers.

Oasispaw dipped her head. "Good luck to you then. Well, bye Molepaw. I'm going hunting. Goodbye!" She meowed, before padding out of the apprentice's den.

Starkit looked around, she didn't want to get caught. She crouched and just waited. Waiting for the tagger to spot her. So she could run away.

Tigerpounce nodded, "Take it easy. Happens to everyone once in a while." He meowed, giving a slight grin to the baffled she-cat.

Roseleaf looked up at Phoenixmoon. "Not yet. Keep treating cats for now, we'll join you soon." She took another bite of the rabbit, feeling rather exhausted.

"N-No I'm not!" Hazepaw quickly replied, almost too forcefully. "I'm fine." He tried his bravest chest puff, though inside he was screaming. Well, atleast the blood is slowing down now... either that hes running OUT of them(which he panicked so dearly), or simply cause they're drying up.

Phoenixmoon nodded her head and returned to the mentor and apprentice waiting for treatment. "Now, where are you injured, Hazepaw?" she asked the anxious apprentice.

Ooc: You never told me the injuries, so Phoenix has to pretend she's blind to them o.o

"Its here, and here." Hazepaw almost sound like a complaining child even though he was trying to look tough. Showing the two claw marks that duck into his shoulder while the fox was pinning him down. Hes still shivering lightly, like a child knowing that syringe is coming.

Phoenixmoon nodded, grabbing the leftover cobweb and pressing it to the scratches, just to ensure the bleeding had stopped. She turned back to the store and grabbed the last stalk of goldenrod, chewing part of it into a poultice and applied it to Hazepaw's scratches. "That should do for now. If your wounds happen to get infected, come see me," Phoenixmoon mewed, glad the anxious apprentice could finally leave.

Skybreeze turned to Pheonixmoon, "The fox got me as well, bit into my throat. " She meowed, glancing at her bleeding throat.

"Yeah, I know," Phoenixmoon replied, focusing on chewing the rest of the goldenrod into a poultice. After she was done, she applied the herb to Skybreeze's throat. "Just be happy you're still alive, foxes are savage creatures."

Hazepaw nodded quickly as he hurried out of the medicine den, feeling more confident as he stepped far away from the medicine den, he once got a severe stomach ache once having swallowed an rotting mouse as a kit and had to visit the medicine cat... it wasn't pleasant.
