Fennelclaw looked around wildly as the gravel under his paws started to slip with the trembling earth. He scrambled for an anchor, gripping a pine root as the loose soil collapsed and slid down the cliff side.

Poolstar gasped and launched herself at a tree, claws catching at the bark. She hung there for stability, watching as the loose earth slid down. The quaking had stopped, but it was a matter of waiting for the ground to be stable. "Is everyone okay?" She called, ears swiveling.

As the soil slowed, then eventually stopped, Poolstar picked up her prey and climbed carefully down, testing the ground with a shaking paw before stepping fully onto it.
