WaterClan Small ponds

Angelflight hung around the camp entrance making sure nobody was left behind. "Head to LeafClan territory!" she yowled at her Clan.

Kindleheart stumbled, and almost dropped the kit she was carrying into a small pond. "Sorry!" she whispered, and kept running.

The rest of my cats raced towards the border rivers.

Snowfeather fled with her clan towards the Leafclan border.

Nightstorm went with the clan, always have a eye on the ones carrying the kittens.

IC-Frostwater nodded her head and hurried off to find some sticks as she called energetically "Bye Blazeripple! I love you! Mate! Bye Angelshadow! And Kindleheart! And Ice! And my apprentice, who's name I forget! Sorry! Bye! Bye! Bye-Bye! See ya later! See ya around! BYE!"
Frostwater searcher around the ponds for some branches but didn't find any. Now that she noticed it, it had been really hot recently and the usual twigs and branches that fell off the trees during leaf-fall were strangely delayed. She shrugged it off, thinking it was nothing.
She decided after much looking to head back to the camp. She had wandered aways off to find some but had barely found any sticks and it was getting very late. She hurried back to camp, unaware of the fear scent trails coming from the cats that had crossed through the ponds in escape from the burning camp.
And with that Frostwater headed back to the camp. That's on fire. Of course.

OOC-Wow, you're smart Frostwater!

Spottedcloud fled with her clan to LeafClan territory. She coughed as she breathed in some smoke

Blazeripple realised that his mate wasnt beside him. "Frostwater? FROSTWATER!" he yowled. Oh SoulClan, she's gone back into the camp! He gasped, and ran forward. Suddenly, he fell flat on his bright orange face, while Angelflight loomed over him.
"Get up, silly! There's a fire!" Blazeripple scrambled to his paws, spitting ashy flavoured dirt out of his mouth. "Frostwater...camp....burn!" he managed to choke out.
Angelflight flicked her tail impatiently. "I'll go get her. YOU need to follow the rest of the cats! Warriors can be replaced, re-trained, but good medicine cats like you are born, not made!" Blazeripple frowned indecisively, then nodded. "Okay. I'll meet you by the border rivers. WITH Frostwater."

Spottedcloud yowled as a flaming tree fell down in front of her spraying ashes of flame towards her. She jumped backwards as the flames touched her paw. She lifted her paw and saw her burning flesh. She set it down quickly and looked for a way out. "HELP" she yelled as best she could.

Ooc: just so you know, Kindleheart is supposed to burn to death. I'm so evil!

Ic: Kindleheart glanced back at the fallen tree. "Blazeripple! Take Nettlekit. I'll help Spottedcloud." The medicine cat nodded and grabbed his nephew off his sister, and raced to the border.

Kindleheart raced back to her old apprentice. "It's okay, Spottedcloud! I'll lift the tree enough for you to escape. Get ready!" she yowled.

Spottedcloud got ready and said hoarsely,"I'm ready kindleheart

Kindleheart lifted the tree with a small gasp. It was heavy! "Hurry, Spottedcloud! I don't think I can hold it for long!" she meted anxiously, smelling her fur burning on the hot bark.

Spottedcloud ran for her life stepping on burning leaves as she ran. She waited for her clan mate. "come on kindle heart!" she yelled

IC: Kindleheart gave the tree one last heave, and dropped it on the ground. "Ow!" She yowled. "The tree fell on my leg!" She tried wriggling it free, but the tree wouldn't budge. Flames started creeping up the dry wood, making the smell of her singed fur hang heavier in the air. Kindleheart gasped for breath, hardly able to see through the smoke.

Spottedcloud ran back and tried to help kindleheart

Kindleheart pushed her old apprentice away. "There's nothing you can do. Save yourself!" she coughed, the smoke finally starting to fill her lungs. "Just look after the kits, okay? You'll be a great warrior, and mentor to your apprentices." The ginger shecat sighed, and closed her eyes for the last time.

Spottedclouds eyes stared wide with horror. She quickly grabbed her former mentors body and ran on. She could still feel her flesh burning from when the branch landed on her leg.

Nightstorm took the group out of the camp leading to the ponds. After this they could go over the fields, doing some hunting, then along the border to the sunningsstones and back throught the swamp.

Rockshade fallowed the deputy. Driftpaw fallowed his clan members.

"This are our ponds. Most of them are so pure, that you can see right to the ground", he said walking pass the water.

Rockshade nodded looking back to see if the apprentices where fallowing.

"I guess this is the best place to learn swimming. Have you ever tryed it?", he said looking questioning.

Rocksahde mewed "No. They have not. No kit is supposed to swim until they are made into an apprentice."

"Somtimes kits do things they're not supposed to. I kinda made everyone mad at me somtimes back then", he said slightly laugthing. "Well then we'll come here once in a while. Besides your son was really a natural talent when it came to swimming."

Rockshade purred. "Sould we teach them now?" he asked.

"We could at least start." The deputy nodded agreeing.

Rockshade nodded. He ran into the water. "Come on!" he called.

"Don't worry, we'll help you, there is now way you will drown", he assured.

Rockshade nodded.

Driftpaw padded into the water slowly.

Nigstorm waited for Nettlekpaw.

Rockshade dove under the water happy.

Nettlepaw followed.

Nigthstorm went into the water guarding Nettelpaw. "How is it?"

"The water is cold but I will get used to it." Nettlepaw said while trying to swim.

"We all did and you're doing just fine", he said swimming beside her.

Rockshade nodded. "Driftpaw! Come on!" he called.

Nettlepaw was dived underwater by the waves in the river. She swam back up and began coughing.

"Oh I'm sorry", he might have made the water wave to much while swimming next to his apprentice.

Rockshade came over. "You okay?" he asked.

"It's okay" she said still coughing from swallowing pond water

Rockshade looked around.

Nettlepaw quit coughing

"Is everything okay Nettelpaw?", she asked looking at her.

Rockshade dove back into the water. Driftpaw swam.

"I'm fine. I just swallowed a little pond water when I was pulled under."

"I should have been more careful", he said softly, "I'm sorry."

"I'm fine" she said

"Good, I'm glad to see that you get along so well", he said purring.

Nettlepaw started to tread water because she had come to a part of the pond where her paws could not reach the bottom

"Thats right just follow your instinkts", he said nodding.
