WaterClan Swampy Forest

Thundersong followed her with another fish in his jaws. He dropped it and didn't grab anything to eat. He followed Lilyshadow.

Lilyshadow was sitting by the den for the Warriors. "Aren't you hungry?" She asked.

Thundersong shook his head. "Naw. Got something on your face." he licked her muzzle.

Feathercloud eventually made it back to the swampy forest, and sat down in the makeshift nest she had made earlier. She decided to wait for any orders to be made from her leader or deputies, as she was anxious to go out on a patrol again.

ooc: /me pokes @Daisyleap with Nightfoot to tell him to give cats tasks to do...

OOC: Sorry, I can't believe I missed so much with being gone one day.

IC: Nightfoot padded over to Thundersong and Lilyshadow, nodding. "I'd like you two to start enforcing small barriers around this temporary camp. We can't risk having little creatures stumbling in, or rogues, even worse." he meowed quickly, then turned to Hailstorm and Feathercloud. "Please go as far back up to camp as possible to see if anything was majorly damaged." he ordered, flicking his tail.

Thundersong looked up and nodded. "C'mon, Lilyshadow." he flicked his tail padding away, starting to look for (brambles? something else? idek).

Sandstar limped into the makeshift camp and found a tree stump to stand on. "Let all cats old enough to swim the deep swamp garner for a clan meeting!" His voice rang around the area.

Feathercloud gathered near for the meeting, wondering when her kits would arrive. She was scared about what was to happen next, but prayed she would make it through to raise her kits.

All my WaterClan cats except Rippleshade gather.
Rippleshade limped towards the smell of herbs, trying to find the medicine den while bleeding out.

Mistleleaf immediately got up to go to Rippleshade. "Shame on you warriors for leaving a Clanmate to bleed to death!" she hissed at the rest of them, letting Rippleshade lean on her. "Sunpaw! Get me some cobweb, and damn it Peachpaw find Twistedleg!"

"Don't worry too much about me." Rippleshade rasped, collapsing and breathing heavily. "I'm just a warrior, other cats-other cats can be treated first."

"Shut up, Rippleshade, you're dying," Mistleleaf huffed, putting pressure on the wounds in his side. "You're first priority here."

ooc: hint for someone else to help Mistleleaf??? Get cobwebs???

Peachpaw winced when she heard Mistleleaf's upset voice from a few mouse-lengths away. She scanned the clearing, trying to spot the familiar grey pelt of Twistedleg. She didn't want to be disrespectful of Sandstar and call out his name, so she patiently shuffled into the crowd and tapped him on the shoulder with her tail. "Mistleleaf needs us, come on!" she whispered harshly, bounding back to her mentor.

The rest of my WaterClan cats gather beneath the rock where Sandstar was standing.

"Things have been bad for all the clans. Ivorystar attacked our patrol of FireClan, FrostClan, and WaterClan cats for no reason. And FireClan has been driven out of their camp by a group of rogues whose leader calls herself Onyx. I want more patrols around our territory just to make sure." He said.

"Also, make sure you bring backup on patrols in case you get ambushed!" Turtlesplash called.

Marshfeather held his tongue about the fact that the attack was very provoked.

Mistleleaf glanced at Peachpaw, her eyes narrowed. "Cobwebs! Now!"

Peachpaw nodded, quickly rushing towards a vibrant green bush. She saw cobwebs growing across the vegetation and carefully picked them up with her dull claws. She hurried back to Mistleleaf with a frown, gently placing the bundle next to her mentor. "D-do you need anything else? Should I help the other injured cats?" she asked, shivering.

Mistleleaf nodded. "Get Sunpaw to help you out, I don't trust him on his own just yet." She started layering the cobwebs on Rippleshade's wounds, trying to stop the bleeding.

Rippleshade slumped to the ground, fading consciousness.
Marshfeather trotted to the medicine cats, shoulder bleeding but not heavily. "I can wait." he mewed reassuringly.

IC: Twistledleg limped down to the medicine cat den, grabbing a bundle of herbs and cobwebs in his jaws and searching the clearing for any untended to wounded cats.

Sunpaw ran over to Peachpaw. His back foot was bloodied some. "Fox-dung! I swear I am never sleeping in a crack again!" he growled under his breath. "Peachpaw? Injured cats?" he said, his mind spinning. This is why Sunpaw doesn't like sleeping.

OOC: Yup. Sunpaw slept through the whole battle.

Peachpaw steadily padded over to Marshfeather, flicking her tail for Sunpaw to follow. "Where does it hurt?" she asked the warrior, eyes narrowed with worry.

Sunpaw followed. "Shoulder wound." he said plainly. "I don't think that it's too deep, but still might still be worrisome if infected." he said quietly so only Peachpaw heard.

"I have a few other scrapes but this is the only one bleeding." Marshfeather mewed awkwardly.
Rippleshade let out a sigh, finally passing.

OOC: Daisy, are you going to give Peachpaw her full name yet? Since she can have it still as the an apprentice, plus, Mistleleaf will be retiring soon as of what I've heard from Willow.

IC: Twistedleg limped over to his apprentice, finally spotting him. "Sunpaw, I've been searching for you everywhere. We need more moss, could you fetch some down by the marsh trees?" He ordered, flicking his tail tip towards the close by trees which were near the water and covered in moss.

Sunpaw looked up at his mentor. "Yes, sir." he said sarcastically, padding out of the makeshift medicine den and padding away. His back paw left a small trail of blood as he limped across the clearing, dodging hurt cats.

"He was helping me, you know," Peachpaw meowed harshly to Twistedleg as she wrapped Marshfeather's shoulder with cobwebs. She quickly applied a comfrey poultice to keep the wound from getting infected. "This should soothe your cuts for now. Just don't do much for a couple of hours, you might wrench your entire shoulder." she said to Marshfeather, flicking her tail and brushing past Twistedleg to more injured cats.

Cindermouse walked around their temporary camp, feeling anger and sorrow tug at her since the battle. She may not have participated, but she sure did feel what the others felt. She knew there were great losses today, and there would be more later. But for now, she simply groomed her dark ash-colored fur, waiting for any cat to make a remark about her and her small legs. 

Feathercloud, watching everyone around her, decided to speak with Sandstar on something that was concerning her since her mate's death. Finding him, she looked at him with seriousness, and a hint of grief in her eyes. "Sandstar, I have come to the conclusion that I will not be able to raise these kits on my own. And I am shy at talking with other cats to be friends, but i would like another tom to help me raise my kits when they arrive. I don't care who it is, but that tom will not be my mate, i don't know if i could ever take another tom as a mate." She spoke to him, her tail flicking anxiously.

(sorry that ended weird, lol, i just didn't want to type an entire paragraph.)

Hazelpaw sat anxiously in the corner of the makeshift camp, watching the injured and distressed cats closely. She was glad she didn't participate in the battle.

Shadeheart walked up to his mate, Ebonyfur, sitting down beside her. "That was a hard battle," he sighed, ducking his head to lick at a cut on his belly.

Doveflight sat with her two kits, trying to shield them from the disturbing scene. Her pelt twitched with worry, looking back at the injured cats.

Twistedleg snorted as he turned to Peachpaw again. "He's supposed to be helping me not you.  I'm his mentor," He stated with a frown.

Ebonyfur nodded and breathed in a deep sigh. "I feel so tired though. And hungry," She explained to her mate, worried of her sudden troubles after the battle.

OOC: @Panthermask she'll give birth soon.

IC: Pigeonkit turned to bury her face into her mother's fur, too scared of all the wounded cats around. "Mommy, what happened to them? Where's daddy?" She questioned with a shaky voice.

Mistleleaf sighed softly, letting Rippleshade's body down into a more gentle position and licked his ears. "May you find good hunting, swift running, and shelter where you sleep. And may you carry the good grace of WaterClan on into SoulClan for many moons of rest," she murmured to the fallen warrior, standing and sighing deeply. "Rippleshade is dead, and its all your fault." She stared at Sandstar, her eyes narrowed.

"How is this suddenly my fault?" Sandstar hissed angrily, his tail lashing angrily. "He went out to battle have himself."

Peachpaw blinked her one good eye, licking her lame leg. "It's harder to do this alone!" she shot back. "And I'd rather have Sunpaw than you."

OOC: Sky, can we pretend they had a fight a while back in the WaterClan camp? I just want them to be made at each other and then make up lol.

OOC: Mhn. Sunpaw will help anyone and everyone

Sunpaw waddled back with moss clamped in his jaw and under his chin. "'Kay, I got tit." he mumbled through moss.

OOC: "'Kay, I got it."

Marshfeather frowned at all the fighting going on in the camp. He sighed and slowly settled himself down to rest.

Turtlesplash heard arguing and swiftly trotted to Sandstar. "What's going on?" she mewed.
Spiderpaw and Willowpaw followed their mother curiously.

"Then you should go rest, I'll bring you some prey," Shadeheart smiled, turning towards the fresh-kill pile.

Ooc: Does she know that she's pregnant Sky? Or is it stil tba

Ic: "They'll be okay," Doveflight soothed, licking the top of Pigeonkit's head. "Your father will be back soon." I hope, she thought, noticing with dread that her mate hadn't returned yet.

"Mistleaf is blaming me for Rippleshade's death." Sandstar hissed, his fur bristling angrily as he told Turtlesplash.

Ooc: Sorry! I'll have him talk to Feathercloud later.

Turtlesplash puffed out her tail and glared at Mistleleaf. "Show your leader some respect!" she growled.

Peachpaw heard the commotion and turned around abruptly, tail flicking. "Hey, s-stop fighting, please!" she meowed, trying to make her voice loud enough.

Mistleleaf snarled at them. "I'm sick and tired of watching my Clanmates suffer unnecessarily. We never had prey stolen from us, why was it our business to help FireClan and FrostClan if they couldn't defend their borders?"

"If we didn't help them, we would of had more enemies." Sandstar hissed. "Also, they actually needed our help. BrightClan and DuskClan are both huge clans. Dapplestar and Redstar needed all of the help they could get." There was a twinge of uncertainty in his voice as he remembered sitting in FrostClan all alone while Redstar and Dapplestar were meeting with BrightClan. Could they of asked for my help just so they could use my warriors? No..... Redstar and Dapplestar are good cats. But I still have that feeling. We didn't do much instead of sacrifice our lives while fighting their battle. Sandstar thought bitterly. "I.... I need a moment to think." He muttered and went to his den.

Mistleleaf huffed. "Talk to me when you've finished thinking, then," she called after him, grumpily returning back to the temporary medicine den.

Sunpaw walked up to Mistleleaf. "What was that about?" his voice suddenly became exhausted. His eyes drooped. "Actually, you know what, nevermind... I need to get some sleep."

OOC: Now I sorta want Mistle to tell him not to sleep sinceI have the best comeback

OOC: Let me guess, Jack, it's probably because she's old hahahaha

Sure, Daisy! They did have a sort of argument, I think? Like, Peachpaw went to go gather herbs by herself when things were all dangerous and tense, and Twistedleg kind of got mad? Or maybe their mad because of their complicated love life haha.

IC: Twistedleg blinked at her in surprise, then quickly narrowed his eyes  to cover it up. "Fine! Then you don't need me. It's not like I was trying to help you... or anything," He hissed back, then limped away while muttering things under his breath.

OOC: Oh my gosh I need to make a comic strip with Twistedleg and Peachpaw fighting over Sunpaw because they're actually mad at each other for other reasons hahaha

IC: Twistedleg flicked his tail and turned to Sunpaw, "Good. Bring those to the injured cats at the makeshift shelter under the willow tree's roots."

OOC: @Panther, It would be more interesting if they didn't know. (: If that's fine with you, of course.

IC: Ebonyfur smiled warmly, grateful for her caring mate. "Thank you, I'll be in the nursery den with Mallowkit," She called after Shadeheart as he left for prey. The black furred foster-queen turned to slip into the nursery den and nosed Mallowkit, as she curled up around her.

Pigeonkit nodded silently. She sighed quietly and glanced at Moonkit expectantly. "Do you want to play now?" She asked her sister, hoping to get something to distract her.

Willowpaw followed Sandstar curiously.
"Mom, are you okay?" Spiderpaw asked, looking at his mother's pelt, which was covered in blood.
"I'm fine, most of it isn't mine." Turtlesplash mewed.

Sandstar turned around to face Willowpaw. "Do you need something?" He asked his kit. 


Rainpaw poked her head into the medicine den. "Is it true that Rippleshade is dead?" She asked quietly.

"Did you really send warriors to their deaths?" Willowpaw mewed in an accusatory tone.

Sandstar hissed softly. "I did not. I did what I believed would give is less enemies." He said, his voice slightly angered.
