Snowpaw watched her mentor stand next to Dapplestar and Snowpaw in turn went over to Icepaw and sat next to him. She nudged him gently with her head and purred softly, glad she could call him a littermate, even if not by blood.

"Okay." Dapplestar mewed, scanning the crowd. "Now, I want each FrostClan apprentice to partner up with a FireClan one. If you can't have a partner, sit on the side of the hollow."

Icepaw nudged Timberwind's shoulder with his one paw as his mentor kind of ignored him. "Hey, what are we going to learn today?" he asked Timberwind.

Sapphirepaw was trying to focus on her mentor Amethystflower but turned her head and watched Rainpaw and Snowpaw.

Icepaw's eyes widened at Timberwind's words. "Are you mouse-brained?! I don't want to train with FrostClan, I'd rather train with my sister Sapphirepaw." he said, lowering his ears sadly. He didn't want to meet any FrostClan cats today.

Sapphirepaw asked what Amethystflower wanted her to do.

Icepaw gulped nervously and headed towards the FrostClan cats, his tail all fluffed up. He didn't want to team up but he had to listen to Dapplestar.

Sapphirepaw eagerly went to greet a FireClan and try to find a partner.

Icepaw gulped again, his nerves on edge completely now and his fur sticking up along his spine. He forced himself to relax as Maplepaw, a FrostClan apprentice walked up to him. "Uh--uh s-s-sure." he stuttered awkwardly.

Sapphirepaw watched her brother for a second and smirked, jealous he had already found a partner.

"Yea.. i fought one of the rogues before they took it." Snowpaw mewed, unintentionally sounding a bit harsh. She didn't realize how she said those words, her mind focused on getting her home back.

"Snowpaw, Clearpaw! Move to the center of the clearing! Everyone else move to the side and stick with your partners!" Dapplestar ordered, lashing her tail. "You two are going to fight. Whoever your mentors are can watch and advise you, but cannot intervene."

Icepaw heard this and nodded to Maplepaw, moving towards the side.

Sapphirepaw frowned and lowered her ears as she didn't have a partner so she sadly walked back to her mentor's side, feeling rejected.

Snowpaw froze for a second, glancing at Clearpaw nervously before nodding to her. She felt uneasy but went into the center. She suddenly became worried about her paw, and if it would give out on her and cause her pain again, so she flashed a glance at her mentor. Redstar and some others were the only ones who really knew of her twisting her paw during her fight with the rogue.

Oakpaw glanced down at his paws when he realized he had never found an partner. Seems like FireClan doesn't have many apprentices... He thought, sitting on the side of the clearing, knowing now this training session would be boring for him.

IC: Ibispaw sat down next to (insert whoever wants to be his FireClan partner) on the side of the hollow, listening intently for more of Dapplestar's directions.

Flamepaw purred, curling his tail around his paws and waiting for further instructions as he sat by his FrostClan partner.

Sapphirepaw blinked. "My brother's Icepaw, he's right there, he's partners with your sister Maplepaw." she whispered in his ear so Tawnyfrost didn't hear her.

Icepaw watched Clearpaw and Snowpaw silently, wondering if all the teams will have a chance to do this and also worried since he didn't know many fighting moves.

IC: Flamepaw sighed. It was a delicate situation partnering up with FrostClan cats but he decided it was better this way since they were allies. His mind filled with thoughts about Cloudpaw, worried that she might never come back and become a warrior. He completely ignored his partner, Blackpaw, until he heard chattering from Ibispaw and Foxpaw next to them.

Ibispaw purred. "Me too! Rogues are terrible. I don't know why they are so angry all the time and want to kill everybody." he meowed.
