Blossompaw sniffed and cried, "She smells like rogues!" Russetpaw's blood ran cold as he thought of his mother or Featherkit being harmed.

Timberwind stiffened. "We have to go!" He meowed, panicked/

Amethystflower looked to Timberwind with a panicked expression. Creekwing is there! She sprinted out and towards camp, Timberwind hot on her heels.

Snowpaw, having heard what happened, looked to Redstar and spotted Clearpaw as well. Then she burst into a full sprint towards Frostclan camp. She knew Icepaw was there, and became worried and scared the rogues would kill him. He was the only family she had left, and she had vowed to protect him.

Freckledrose halted at the clearing, turning around to meet the rest of the group's excited, and eager gazes. "So, what's the plan?" She turned to Lunarshine, "Apprentice against apprentice, team fighting against us, or we just teach them all a couple moves?"

Whitepaw widened her eyes. She had seen the clearing before, on her first day out with Lunarshine; although it seemed even more exciting now. "All of those sound great!" She purred, her paws kneading the floor; anxious to get started.

Lunarshine looked up at the darkened sky. "We shouldn't do too much as it's getting late. Why don't we have Whitepaw and Russetpaw be on a team and me and you act as different predators for them to come up with attack plans on?" she suggested to Freckledrose, shivering as the night got colder.

Freckledrose dipped her head. "Good idea," She agreed, noticing how chilly it was out. The dappled shecat padded to the other side of clearing, so they wouldn't hear Russetpaw's, and Whitepaw's plans.

Whitepaw turned to her friend. "Got any ideas? I didn't learn much besides the front paw blows, back kick, and belly rake," She meowed, squinting her eyes to remember the moves she was taught by Lunarshine.

Lunarshine padded beside Freckledrose, turning behind a thick tree trunk. "I remember when me and my friends did this as apprentices," she giggled. "It was so fun." She wanted to think about the present, but her mind kept wandering to the scene of Rattail and Heatherglow's death. She failed to show any emotion at the moment, but she felt like sobbing her eyes out.

Thorntail padded into the training grounds with his tail held high, glancing behind him for the rest of them to come through. "You lot are as slow as badgers," he joked, purring.

Applepaw gulped and almost blurted our her thoughts. A FrostClan cat?? It’s bad enough training with one, but to have one as my mentor?? Thorntail’s probably better than he will ever be. she thought.
