Spookkit padded over to Spiderkit and batted her ears playfully, "Come on, get up you lazy mop of fur!" He squeaked, not noticing Batkit sneaking up right behind them both.

Spookkit felt a quick rush of anger swell up in him, Stupid kits, we can play with them all we want! He thought, but quickly smoothed his fur down. "So what, we can play by ourselves. Who needs them anyway?" He mewed, although he glanced enviously over at the kits playing with their moss ball.

Claypaw grabbed a piece of prey from the freshkill pile, a lovely plump mouse, and moved out of the way of the kits to eat in the corner.

Spiderkit batted at Spookkit's tail. "We'll be apprentices soon anyway."

Redfox quickly padded over to her kit, Sunkit. "Sunkit! Oh my, come with me my darling. I will keep you safe." She meowed, before picking up Sunkit by the scruff and taking him into the Nursery.

IC: Redfox nodded. "Oh, sorry." She meowed, flattening her ears. She took Sunkit to the medicine den. "Here. Just, please take care of him." She meowed, setting Sunkit at Russetpaw's paws.

Sunkit looked up. "B-but.. what about Flin-" Sunkit paused. He had to remember to keep everything a secret! "I hope I'm out soon.." He muttered to himself. Annoyed.

Spookkit pounced on top of his arguing brother and sister. "Hey! No need to fight." He giggled, "After all, we all know that I'm going to be the best." Spookkit announced, puffing his chest up and raising his chin in pride.

Redstar padded back into camp, fur mangy and ruffled. She ran her tongue over it multiple times to smooth it out before climbing onto the Skyrock. "Cats of FireClan, gather around for a meeting!" she called.

My cats spread from their groups of acquaintances and gathered anxiously around the Skyrock, all knowing it would be names for the Gathering tonight.

Sparkfeather padded over to the Skyrock and found a place to sit. This was for the gathering, Sparkfeather wasnt completely sure if she wanted to go. She had a bad experience with a DuskClan apprentice named Smokepaw last time she went.

Redstar flicked her tail impatiently as the cats gathered around. Before even waiting for everyone to gather, she began the meeting. "Cats of FireClan, as you all know the Gathering is tonight. After the raids and battles with BrightClan and DuskClan, I have decided not to bring any apprentices or elders. Only Silversky will come with me. The rest of the medicine cats will help guard the camp. The following warriors will accompany me: Sparkfeather, Littlelily, Darkshadow, Redwing, Pebblesplash, Sunstep, Frostflame, Windfeather, Bitternfrost, Slash, Emberlight, Rosetiger, Brownstep, Hornetflame, and Birchstripe." she meowed.

Darkfrost came back into camp after a self-hunting patrol. He thought he would do a little hunting to get out of the camp before the gathering that evening. He set his catch with the others and sat down. He began licking his fur to try and wash some of the dirt off.

Hornetflame looked up at Redstar, eager to hear who the new deputy would be, his dark ginger fur rippling impatiently.

Rosetiger kept a grumpy expression on her face, not wanting to hear who Redstar would choose as her next deputy. Probably going to be an idiot, she thought negatively.

This is my chance, Redwing thought, eyes sparkling. Maybe I'll become deputy, and me and Sunstream's kits will grow up knowing their father is special...

Sparkfeather stiffened. She couldn't be deputy. No chance anywhere. Yet, she felt a tiny spark of hope flare inside of her like the moon rising. If she became deputy, she would be respected. She lowered her head. That probably wouldn't happen

Hawkstep puffed out his chest, interested to hear who would be the new deputy.

Redstar stiffened before stepping forward and letting her voice be loud and clear. "The new deputy of FireClan is Darkfrost, who will serve with Nightpelt as strong cats to represent our Clan. Thank you, you are all dismissed." she announced quickly, immediately leaping off the Skyrock and hurrying into her den with a frown.
