Dovefrost padded around the fresh-kill pile before picking out two mice to bring to the wounded cats and quickly bounded over to the den.

Spiderpaw cringed at the large crowd of cats and how full the den was before grabbing some cobwebs from a corner and making his way back, "Here Hollyshade!" He brightened up, his voice muffled ever so slightly.

Tulippaw simply blinked as she waited for a response from Creampaw.

Riverswoop grumbled something about never being chosen to do patrols, then padded up to Russetstar. "I should probably take a hunting patrol out?" he suggested. "We have no food."

Dovefrost made her way back out the medicine den after dropping off prey for the wounded cats and glanced up at where Riverswoop and Russetstar were talking.

Russetstar nodded, "Yes, I suppose you can lead a patrol out." He dipped his head in acknowledgement, completely forgetting that he had sent his only deputy out and that she was supposed to organize the patrols at the moment.

Gingerpatch padded over to Riverswoop, purring. "I'm up for hunting!" she mewed cheerily.

Dovefrost bounded over to the busy group, her tail high up in the air as she padded forward, "I can come!" She volunteered, practically begging to finally get out and stretch her legs.

Dovefrost nodded and then shuddered as a chilly breeze arrived from the far away clouds, she quickly fluffed up her light gray fur in hopes to warm up more.

Hollyshade shuffled her paws through the herb storage, noticing that they were running out of quite a few remedies. "Spiderpaw!" she called out for her apprentice. "We're going out to collect some herbs. Go get a warrior or two, please. I'll be at the entrance."

Spiderpaw perked his ears at his mentor's call and swiftly bounded out to the camp clearing, glancing around for any warriors free to go out. "Stormpoppy, Tawnysky, can you both come to help us collect herbs?" He mewed to the two older warriors with a welcoming grin on his face.

Spiderpaw purred, "Great! Hollyshade is waiting over there." He added in, angling his ears back towards the camp entrance. He quickly padded over to his mentor and batted at her ear to get her attention in a playful way, "I got two!" He reported back proudly.

Graypaw yawned and stretched in his nest. He heard Ivypaw and was utterly confused. She shoved himself out of the apprentice den and outside. He stretched and looked for a patrol or his mentor.
