“Any questions?” Her voice was genuine, calmer than before. She was relaxed, but she stared at him dead in the eyes, it most likely made him uncomfortable, but she didn’t care.

Ravenwing stared right back, not bothered. "Nope,"

“Okay, be careful here though. Rainpaw collapsed and they think he might have a sickness.” She replied. The apprentice felt awkward having to look up at Ravenwing.

Ravenwing glanced over to the apprentice's den, then back at her. "I see..."

Mintpaw gave him a very strange look, “he’s in the medicine den, not the apprentices den.”

Ravenwing nodded, but still glance the apprentice's den with a strange look.

The apprentice sighed, “Do you have anything to do, you just seem to be standing there.”

Ravenwing shook his head. "Not really."

“You wanna do something then? I’m kinda bored here.” She replied quickly. That’s what she expected, but not much more than that.

Ravenwing shrugged. "I guess," he paused. "But what?"

Jadestar shook her head with a sigh and padded out of the medicine den to get out of the way of the medicine cats, brushing her tail down Dreampaw's side to comfort her. Looking out, she frowned and padded over to Heathermoon, nudging her. "We should send out a few more hunting patrols, just to try and get as much prey as we can," she mewed, glancing around for Dragonmoon as well as cats to go on patrols. "Might as well take Brindlepaw out to show her some things," she purred.

Dragonmoon bounded over to Jadestar, his tail flicking as he trotted. Paws padding softly over the trodden soil, he made his way over. He dipped his head, flicking an ear in greeting.

Heathermoon jerked up. "Say what now?" she asked blinking away her memories. "I dozed out."

"Hunting patrols," Jadestar chuckled and flicked her tail over Heathermoon's ear. "We need to organize some since prey is scarce." She glanced towards her kits, watching Spiderpaw nonchalantly sit between Onyxpaw and Stagpaw while listening to their father.

Heathermoon followed Jadestar's gaze then flicked it back to her. "Right. Um, do I do that now?"

Ravenwing padded up to Jadestar. "Could I go on the hunting patrol?" He mainly wanted to get out of camp though, but he did know prey was scarce.

Jadestar was about to reply to Heathermoon's question, and she flattened her ears at being interrupted. "That's up to the deputies, Ravenwing," she meowed coolly and lashed her tail. "Yes, do them now, please, Heathermoon. Dragonmoon, could you find a patrol for me to lead?"

His ears went red with embarrassment. "Um, ok then..." He turned away from Jadestar before he could lose his temper. Ravenwing shook his fur and began to paw at the dirt.

"Okay, Ravenwing take um, 3 warriors on patrol to uh... where ever you want. M- Jadestar, you choose cats to go on patrol with somewhere too," Heathermoon blinked.

Ravenwing nodded then asked, "Who should I take?"

Heathermoon blinked, her ear flicking. "Uh, you choose." she replied.

He blinked. "Um, I don't know who," he muttered.

"First few cats you see then," Heathermoon suggested, blinking away a silver shimmer in front of her eyes.

Mintpaw padded up to Jadestar, “Can I come along?” She sounded excited. She didn’t get out of camp  much and was excited when there was an opportunity to. She also, wasn’t this friendly with cats but she respected the cats with higher positions.

Dragonmoon nodded to his leader, his yellow-amber eyes shining as he went to the warriors den to assign any sleepy warrior to patrol.

Rabbitpaw padded back into camp with his mentor Willowfeather, looking shyly proud as he carried the small field mouse in his mouth. It was a difficult training session for hunting with the scarcity of prey, but he had managed to track down the mouse before it had made it to its burrow.

Oakpaw padded on the other side of Rabbitpaw, practically glowing with pride towards his crush. He purred and lightly flicked his thin tail over Rabbitpaw's ear, watching Willowfeather excuse herself after nuzzling her apprentice. The tortoiseshell she-cat padded to her mate, Talonstep, and nuzzled into his neck fur.

Rabbitpaw looked down and away from Oakpaw quickly, feeling his face grow hot with embarrassment. He dropped the prey in the fresh-kill pile, ignoring the growing pit in his stomach at the sight. There was a decent amount of prey to barely feed the whole clan. He shook his pelt roughly and looked over at Oakpaw, shuffling his front left paw. "I-I'm sorry I messed up your hunt." Rabbitpaw had made the mistake of stepping on a twig, leaving only one mouse for himself to catch instead of more for both apprentices to bring back.

Oakpaw softened and leaned down to touch his nose to Rabbitpaw's, purring, "It's fine, Rabbitpaw. I'm better with fighting than hunting, honestly. Silverpaw is the hunter of the family." He chuckled and stood up straight, stretching out.

Rabbitpaw shrank back out of surprise at the casual nose touch. "R-Right," he meowed softly, looking around for anything to bring into the conversation... or a place to hide.

Dragonmoon waked over to the apprentice den and stopped right outside. “Creampaw?” He called.

Oakpaw watched with an amused expression, swishing his tail along the ground. "What do you think your warrior name will be?" He meowed and sat down, wrapping his tail around his paws. 

Creampaw shook her head and looked up, blinking sleepily. "Yes, Dragonmoon?" She meowed and moved to her paws, stretching herself out. Her blue eyes focused on her mentor as she padded out, fluffy tail swaying.

“We will be learning some battle moves today, so get something to eat and meet me at the entrance.” He said sternly and walked away, towards Heathermoon. “Open for training with our apprentices?” He said kindly, winking.

Rabbitpaw's tail twitched nervously, but he stayed put and tried to reply with the calmest voice he could muster. "I-I don't know. What about you?"

Heathermoon nodded, her ear flicking. "Oh, yeah, sure," she smiled  back.

“Great, meet us at the entrance.”He said, bounding off.

Heathermoon rolled her eyes, glancing at Jadestar. "I'll just, uh, go, see you later," she smiled awkwardly, then ran after Dragonmoon.

"I like the name Oakbreeze," Oakpaw admitted and smiled. "I think the name Rabbitwind suits you," he purred flirtatiously. 

Creampaw ate quickly and nudged Mistypaw to do the same, the two she-cats walking to the entrance of camp.

Heathermoon suddenly remembered she should probably bring her apparentice and ran over. "Sorry, did you want to do battle training," she asked, ears flicking awkwardly.

Ravenwing was hopelessly lost when it came to choosing. He could never do it. He groaned.

Mistypaw laughed and nudged her mentor. "Creampaw already had me eat so I could come," she mewed and bounded out of camp.

Rabbitpaw felt his entire body heat up at the other apprentice's tone. "I-I... Why that name?" He glanced around nervously, wondering if there was anything he could find to run away to. But he knew Sparrowpaw had been on elder duty this morning and the queens had probably been taken care of by now as well.

"Alright then," Heathermoon shrugged, then followed after.

"You're fast," Oakpaw stated and grinned, flicking some snow at the other tom.

Rabbitpaw's ears heated up twice as much as usual. His paws shuffle quickly, his eyes darting to focus on different parts of Oakpaw's face. "Oh. R-Right. Why do you like the name Oakbreeze for yourself?"

OOC: Conversation between Rabbitpaw and Oakpaw, deputies calling for patrols, and Jadestar had been waiting for a reply from Tulippaw or Hollyshade about what happened but then she walked out after growing impatient :3

Grassflight drew her tongue over her paws, still savoring the taste of her last meal. A light layer of snow blanketed the camp, and the tip of her tail twitched in excitement. She remembered how her and Bouldersnow had always chased each other around in the snow, and purred with delight as she entered the nursery. "Hey, little ones," she whispered softly, nudging them with her nose. "SoulClan left a present for you outside."

Littleflower sat with her tail curled neatly over her paws in front of the warriors den. She watched Heathermoon struggle to put together a patrol, and left her anger of being stripped from her rank and replaced by an unexperienced warrior. She got up and went to help the younger she-cat, lips pursing into a half smile. "Do you need any help? I can pass on my deputy knowledge to you." she chuckled, turning to see Dragonmoon, the other deputy address his apprentice for training.
