Finchpaw grinned again. "You guys know the stories about this meadow, don't you?"
Robinpaw rolled his eyes. "Really."
She made a face. "Its said that a lot of cats have died here, from unknown causes." She laughed, noticing the prickling fur on Falconpaw and Robinpaw's shoulders.

"Because, camp is boring." Finchpaw said, flicking her tail. "Maybe we can do some hunting and surprise out mentors." She shrugged.
"More than likely we'll be sitting here telling stories." Robinpaw said dryly.

Robinpaw climbed to his feet. "I'm gonna hunt, too." he flicked his tail at Finchpaw.

Finchpaw padded along, aware of Falconpaw behind her. She turned to say something but at that exact moment, a badger burst forward from the tall grass. She spun around and seemed frozen before she let out a shriek and propelled herself forward with the speed of a bullet. But the badger chased after her, seperating her from Falconpaw

"Finchpaw!" Falconpaw called after her, before hurrying after her to help with the badger. When the badger came in sight, Falconpaw leaped on top of it and dug his claws inside it, and raked them down its body.

The badger roared and shook the apprentice off, continuing after Finchpaw. She stumbled, and flipped as she fell. "Robinpaw!" She screamed for her brother, knowing he'd save her.
Robinpaw's ears pricked, and he raced to where the sound of her voice came from. just as he leaped over the bushes, the badger raise dhis paw to strike Finchpaw, who had scratches all over her pelt along with one claw wound.
Robinpaw darted in front of her and the badger brought its paw down on his back, knocking him to the ground.
At that second, a white streak shot out of the nearby forest and rammed straight into the badger, knocking it away from the apprentices.

Falconpaw shrieked and lost his grip from the badger, but he immediately stood up and saw the white streak. "What was that?" He asked

Iceflower snarled at the badger, her white fur tangled from her hasty dash. She arched her back, steping in front of Robinpaw and Finchpaw. She quickly dove at it, getting several quick slashes in before she skipped back to avoid being clawed. "I could use some help!" She called out breathlessly.
Finchpaw darted forward, swiping at the badger's legs.

Falconpaw darted forwards as well right when he did the badger slashed its claw in Finchpaw's direction, but because he jumped in front of her the badger got him instead. Falconpaw just winced a little before clawing deeply into the badger's shoulder.

Finchpaw felt a stab of fury, that now both of her brothers were hurt because they were protecting her.

Iceflower drove her claws into the back of the badgers neck; somehow she'd maneuvered her way up there. the badger let out a cry and shook her off. She landed on her side with a sharp out take of breath, but the badger lumbered away, leaving the meadow silent but for ragged breathing.

Falconpaw watched the badger dart away before glancing up at the white cat. "Who are you?" He asked her. Falconpaw had a deep scratch from where the badger had struck him a second ago

"I'm Iceflower," She said between pants. "I'm from BrightClan." She glanced at Finchpaw, who had scampered to Robinpaw, who was staring at Iceflower with pain filled yet sharp eyes.
She blinked, startled, and then turned back to Falconpaw.

"Well, i couldnt let a group of apprentices be torn apart by a badger while i could help," She said rolling her eyes to look at Robinpaw. She wondeered if they could tell that it was only recently that she'd been made a warrior.

"Yeah, sure..." She trailed off, her head tilted as she looked at Robinpaw, confused by why he kept staring at her. "You should probably get back to your camp so you guys can get healed."
Finchpaw ruffled her fur as she looked at the white she-cat. Her pride was hurt. "Yeah." She mumbled.

Finchpaw helped Robinpaw up, he was still looking at Iceflower with a puzzled expression. She pulled him forward and started to head back to camp.

Whisperpaw walked into the meadow to relax the sudden disappearance of snakepaw,and the others made her worry if they where ok. She was about to fall asleep when a butterfly landed on her nose and she chased it like she was still a kit

Thorntail padded into the meadow, Whisperpaw by her side. She began sniffing the air for prey.

WhisPer sniffed the air, she smelled a rabbit. She went into hunting crouch and stalked forward. She pounced on it and bit it hard in the neck, it soon gave up and went limp. "Here we go rabbit for the fresh kill pile". She set it down and tore some grass from the ground and put it on the rabbit.

Thorntail nodded her head. "But instead of stalking a rabbit like other prey, only stalk until it hears you, it will be easier to run after it."
Thorntail sniffed more and finally caught the scent of a finch. She finally saw it pecking at the root of some wheat near a pond. She slowly approached it, tail down, belly to the ground, and she pounced. The she-cat landed squarely on the creature, killing it quickly.

"Ok thanks for telling me". Whisper sniffed once more, and got a wif of mice, she turned around cautiously and saw a mouse a couple feet aw at nibbling on a nut she went in a hunting crouch made sure her tail was down and her belly was on the ground. She crouched forward slowly and pounced on it, catching it and killing it with a swif bite to the neck. "How was that?" She asked trough a mou h full of fur.

Go back. Whisper answered the question from her mentor. "Mabey later we can go to training hollow, besides we should go back I'm hungry aren't you, and this mouse isn't making it any easy for me". Whisperpaw chuckled and picked up her rabbit and walk forward the deprecation of camp.

Mossblaze darted in after Cinderpelt, breathing heavily.
"Man, you beat me~!" she meowed, purring.
She immediately picked up the scent of squirrel and followed it blindly.

Cinderpelt glanced around, when she caught a scent of rabbit. Racing after the scent, she jumped on top of it, only just catching it. Purring, she trotted back to a rose bush, and dropped the rabbit next to it.

Mossblaze stalked the squirrel and pounced, ending it with a quick killing bite. She trotted back and dropped it next to Cinderpelt's rabbit under the rose bush, purring and nudging her friend.
"This is nice, huh? Getting away from the kits for a while?" she chuckled.

Mossblaze lifted her nose to try and pick up another scent of prey, but instead she scented badger.
"Uh-oh." she mewed, angling her ears towards a rustling sound near the rose bush where they had buried their prey for later.

Cinderpelt's eyes widened. "Uh oh." she whispered. As the beast lumbered out the bush, she glanced at Mossblaze. "What do we do now?" she whispered.

Cinderpelt shook her head. "I'll try and keep it away!" she yowled, crouching down, ready to spring, her tail swishing. She growled. "Kill me if you wish, but that is the only taste of blood you'll get."

Quickpaw burst into the clearing, immediately bumping Cinderpelt away.
"Get Mossblaze and go back to camp~!! We'll hold it off~!!!" he exclaimed, leaping onto the badgers back and ripping it's fur to shreds.

Cinderpelt growled, and watched as the badger threw Quickpaw off it's back. "I can't! Don't you understand!" she yowled, as the badger snarled, and swiped a massive paw at her. Ducking, she clawed back feebly, and let herself go as the second paw came falling down on her.

Lillystripes shot next to her, and watched as the badger battered at Cinderpelt. "No!" she yowled, leaping onto the badger.

Mossblaze, with her massive hearing skills, heard Quickpaw after running a few fox-lengths away and shook her head as she raced back.
"We may be old, but we won't be defeated~!" she defended herself and Cinderpelt, arching her back and hissing at the badger, swiping out one of her large paws.
