Tawnyspots looked at Stagshade, but slowly went to follow Snowystar out of the clan, her fur fluffed out.

Cherrywind looked around the now quiet camp, sighing a little. It seems so empty. It didn't stay quiet for long, however, with Ryekit immediately grabbing a moss ball and tossing it at Midnightkit.

Midnightkit smacked the moss ball back at Ryekit, grinning playfully. "Man! I wonder what the Gatherings are like! Ryekit, when we're apprentices, let's go to one together!"

Opalflower found himself walking towards Cherrywind, smiling and sitting down near her. "Kits will be kits. They're getting to the age where they will start to become more mischievous."

Cherrywind nodded. "They're four moons," she looked to Petrelflight.

"Doing what I say doesn't always mean immediately," Cherrywind gave a wry smile to Petrelflight, watching as Ryekit tossed it at Midnightkit's head again.

Nightbrook slid back into camp, a hare in her jaws. She'd figured she had missed the meeting to see who would be going to the gathering, but she couldn't find any reason to be upset about not going. She padded past Cherrywind, Petrelflight, and the kits, dropping the hare onto the fresh kill pile before plucking up a songbird for herself.

Rowanscar lounged in his nest, looking up at the sky. He yawned, and opted to sleep early, curling up tighter. His tail draped itself over his face, and he dozed off.

Petrelflight nodded a greeting to Nightbrook. "Rabbits still running this late? I'd think they'd be snuggled in their burrows by now."

Midnight ended up dodging the mossball. It rolled a few metres away, but he chased after it and pounced on it, throwing it back to Ryekit.

Nightbrook's ears swiveled and she turned to look at Petrelflight. "I was out for awhile. Went farther than I thought. They probably are in their burrows, but I caught this one earlier." She shrugged nonchalantly, settling down with her songbird and plucking the feathers.

Cherrywind scoffed softly. "Not all warriors go to the Gatherings, Midnightkit. Who would defend the camp otherwise?"

Fleetbird froze, his eyes turning to his mate, immediately moving towards them, unable to know what is happening. He pulled Ryekit and Midnightkit towards him, scared.

Opalflower froze, before bolting to the nursery, his eyes staring at his kits as he picks both of them up and pulling them out of the den, scared.

Nightbrook's ears swiveled and she shrunk closer to the ground, glancing toward where Rowanscar emerged from his nest and struggled to reach Aspenflake, supporting her as they shook with the ground.

Glidefeather scrambled into the camp, his rabbit left forgotten at the entrance. "The moors! There's a giant crack in the moors!" he panted, eyes wide.

Cherrywind gulped. "Let's stay here until everyone gets back from the Gathering," she tucked her kits closer.

Fleetbird nudged his son, touching his forehead as he tried to stay on his feet as well as keeping his kits safe. “I don’t know, Midnightkit.” He paused, looking at Glidefeather, mind working hard. “The shaking must’ve made the moors unstable and caused the large crack. There could be more. Stay together and watch out for any unusual things.” He paused, looking towards the moors, going over every bit of information in his head.

Fleetbird shook his head, looking at Nightbrook. “No. We don’t know where more could appear. It will be more dangerous to go near it while this is happening. Cats could get hurt. Best chance we have is to stay here and protect the clan until Snowystar comes back.”

Aspenpaw trudged into camp after her leader and the rest of the gathering group. She perked up her head and scanned the camp clearing, her hazel eyes suddenly bright and alert. "Is anyone hurt?" The medicine cat apprentice questioned, her paws itching to sleep but she knew her clan came first.

Cricketsong immediately darted to the nursery, making it her top priority to protect the kits. She dug her claws into the shaking ground, ignoring the dirt seeping into her fur. When Aspenpaw returned, she blinked to collect herself before padding over. "Is Stagshade alright?" she asked, craning her neck over the crowd of arriving cats to try and find her brother.

Hawkpaw trudged into camp, exhausted but too panicked from the shaking to simply go to his nest and sleep. He stood beside Stagshade, glancing up at his mentor. "What's going to happen now?"

Cloudedpool shifted nervously on her paws, glancing out toward the moors. She wanted to run and hunt to ease her worries. While the rest of the patrol padded into camp, she slipped away unseen, darting across the shadow cast grounds.

Aspenflake darted to the returning cats, searching for Rabbitpaw. When she found him, she exhaled in relief and touched her nose to his head. "Are you alright?"

Dovelight walked into camp, eyes immediately searching the crowd. "If any of you are even remotely hurt, come with me, now. I need to make sure that nothing will become infected and make sure that everyone is ok. Otherwise, please, try and rest. It's been a long night for all of us."

Stagshade shook his stubby tail. "We'll be alright," he mewed authoritatively, "Everyone injured, go check with Dovelight. Everyone else, focus on getting rest."

Snowystar trudged over to Dovelight, watching the other cats regroup.

"Is everyone alright? No injuries?" The young leader looked worn out, but worried for the safety of her clan.

Aspenpaw was immediately glued to Dovelight's side. Raising her chin up with importance, she tried searching the camp for any cats in need of help, although she wasn't able to see over most of the due to her small demeanor. Her tail tip flicked back and forth, ready to help her mentor with any wounded. The pale-ginger she-cat watched quietly as Snowystar approached, her hazel-green eyes shining in awe at the leader, even though she appeared tired.

“No one has come to me so far, Snowystar. Except you.” She said, a foreboding tone in her voice. “How is the illness. I was watching you in the gathering and I saw you were quite quiet.” She said, before touching Apsenpaw’s head. “If you need something, just ask, Ok Aspenpaw?”

Umberdash stood in the midst of the anxious cats. The apprehension kept his fur on end, but his fur was too short to really show his starting anxiety. He obeyed the deputy's command and padded into the warrior's den, but the energies of the camp kept him awake.
