Ottercreek's ears lowered a bit. "Unlike mine, my brother Beekit couldn't be here to have his, so it was just a reminder of what I lost." he said, looking up towards where Silverpelt was.

Ottercreek nodded sadly as his amber eyes became dark with sorrow. "He was only 3 moons old, I swear if he had lived that greencough he'd be just like me. I wonder if he got his warrior name there." he wondered aloud, his tail twitching slightly.

Feathercloud watched her leader from the temporary nursery, her kits safely in her nest and bundled up close to one another. They were beautiful and perfect in every way, and she only wished her beloved mate was here to see them. She missed him terribly, her heart aching every day that passed.

Ottercreek nodded his head and then glanced away as he felt someone watching them. He spotted Feathercloud and mewed a greeting before dipping his head in goodbye to Sandstar. He stood up and padded over to Feathercloud. "Hello Feathercloud, how are the kits?" he asked.

Sandstar eyed Feathercloud. I need to visit her more often. I should be helping with the kits more now that their father is gone. he thought angrily.

"Hi, Ottercreek. My kits are doing fine. Healthy and sleeping... I just wish a lot that their father was here." She said with some sadness in her voice. But she remained strong and held her head high. She did notice Sandstar glance back at her, and she simply twitched her ears in acknowledgement.

Ottercreek smiled and his whiskers twitched with happiness. "Good to hear they're doing well, but.....how are you holding up?" he asked her, a bit worried about the she-cat.

"I wish i could be better. But i am doing okay right now. I have to focus on my kits and making sure they stay healthy and are properly raised." She said, licking a few hairs flat on her legs.

Ottercreek smiled warmly. "Well, if you ever need help you can always ask me." he mewed softly and then walked off, heading towards the fresh-kill pile since he was a little hungry.

Quartzpaw, after seeing the warrior ceremony with wide eyes, looked around for Sandstone, cursing mentally when she couldn't find the warrior.

Mallowkit stretched and got up from her nap, looking at Ebonyfur with wide eyes. "Your belly!" she squeaked. "Its big!"

"As some of you may heard, the clan is good to move back into. But I need a cleaning patrol. I will lead it and Nightfoot, Stormwing, Rubblewind, Lostblaze, Lilyshadow, Rippleshade, Rainstorm, Ottercreek, and Shadeheart will come with me. Bring your apprentices if you have one." He said. "Turtlesplash will be in charge while we are gone. Listen to her. Dismissed. Cats who were called meet up at the meeting rock." He said and leaped down.

Ottercreek heard his name and lifted his head high, puffing his chest, proud of being noticed by Sandstar. He flicked his tail and took glances towards the others whose name was called before he slowly made his way towards the meeting rock.

Shadeheart followed after the others, turning towards Ebonyfur to wave his tail in farewell. He padded up next to Ottercreek, looking up at his leader expectantly.

Nightfoot looked back at Zebraheart but quickly remembered that she had just become a warrior. I feel like I never even took her out for a good training session. he thought, solemnly padding beside Sandstar with his eyes glued to the ground.

Ottercreek waited for instructions and more importantly for Sandstar to lead the way back to camp. He wondered what he would do once he got there and what their camp looked like from the flooding.

Badgertooth, a elderly tom whose eyesight was completely lost slowly walked out of the make-shift elder's den. His aching joints had made him miss a Clan meeting and he wasn't exactly pleased.

Snowlily padded in from the forest with a fish in her jaws, the scent of blood making her anxious. She gasped when she saw Lostblaze, rushing over. "What happened?!"
Mistleleaf growled. "Move away, Snowlily. I need to check his leg."

Lostblaze winced when the leaf was removed, revealing his broken leg. He refused to look at it, knowing the pain would only grow if he took in the details. Glancing up at Snowlily, he offered a pained, sheepish smile. "I'll be okay. SoulClan knows better than to harm a warrior like this," he mewed jokingly, attempting to lighten the mood.

Sandstar padded into camp, his legs wobbly from literally dying and coming back to life. I wish all of the cats here had nine lives. Things would just be so much easier.
