FireClan Camp

Stormkit scampered out of the nursery, his eyes shining when he saw the new kits. He bounded over, and sniffed at them. " who are they?" He asked softly, looking up at Redstar.

Milkweed stared at Stormkit. They do have young cats here! She looked down, trying not to purr too much.

Barley's eyes twinkled at the other younger kitten, and he slowly approached Stormkit. "Hi! My name's Barley." he meowed.

Redstar purred at Barley and Milkweed making friends with Stormkit and watched Martenpaw leave with a look of guilt in her face. No more interruptions. she reminded herself.

Mistkit bounded out of the nursery.
"New cats!" She said. "Hi!!!!! I'm Mistkit!" She purred happily. "What are your names?"

Stormkit turned to Mistkit. " Mistkit!" He growled. " your scaring them!!" He then turned to Barley. " my name's Stormkit, are you joining Fireclan?"

Mistkit growled. "Scare them? I doubt that I could scare another kit." She retorted

Milkweed purred weakly, glancing up at Acornwhisker. The shecat nodded a little in encouragement, and she walked over and sat down. "My name is Milkweed. And this is Barley."

Robinpaw stepped back and let the kits interact, a faint grin on her face from the adorable, tiny cats making friends so easily.

" You can easily scare them, by bounding up and yelling in their faces." Stormkit answered back, a twinkle in his gaze.

"I couldn't scare anyone! Kits like to play!" She snapped back.

OoC: SAMEEE XD im glade I wasn't the only one thinking that. 


Stormkit rolled his eyes, then looked at milkweed and mouth. " see what I have to deal with?"

Mistkit rolled her eyes. "Toms!" She grumbled. "Stormkit don't be such a mouse-brain!"

Sweetkit ran out. "Mistkit, wait up!" She skidded to a stop near the new kits. "New kits! Can we play?"

Barley stepped back a bit, overwhelmed by all the cats. He put a paw on Acornwhisker's tail for protectiveness. "H-hello." he meowed, swaying uneasily.

Redstar let out a faint growl. "Okay, kits, go back to your mothers. Barley and Milkweed need to get settled in." she instructed, trying not to sound harsh.

"Awwww." Mistkit said when Redstar told them to leave. "Us kits are never allowed to have any fun." She said, scampering off to the nursery.

Stormkit eyed Redstar. So I need to go out who knows where, out of clan territory and maybe even rogue starclan? He thought, then turned around and headed for the nursery.

Acornwhisker licked Barley's ear. "It's okay," she purred softly. 
Milkweed bounced a little. "So many cats!"

Sweet kit smiled at the kits. "Bye!" She raced back to Littlefire.

Cloudpaw huffed as she watched the exchange. Flamepaw and I were hardly greeted so well. Just because the leader and her mate found them, they're going to be spoilt brats.

Martenpaw plopped down next to Cloudpaw with an annoyed huff. "'sup." he muttered, "You being blocked from talking to Redstar by the brats too?"

Heatherpaw sat outside the apprentice den. I wish I knew where I came from. I wish I got that type of friendliness when I joined. she thought sadly

Cloudpaw glanced at Martenpaw. "No. Just wondering why they bother with rogue kits. It's leafbare, our territory is covered with snow, and now we have more mouths to feed."

Martenpaw flinched, remembering that he himself had been a rogue kit but not wanting to voice it in fear of argument. "More claws to hunt later?" he suggested.

Cloudpaw just nodded. "I know. I'm grateful for the Clan taking me in but it's just stupid to try and stretch our limited resources right now. They won't be able to hunt for another three moons at least, and by then it'll be newleaf."

Darkshadow was laying in the warrior's den, his tail twitching as he watched the cats move around outside. its so boring... and cold!


Sparrowkit squirmed next to her siblings, wailing pityfully.

Rowankit sat outside the nursery, her fur fluffed up to warm her as the chilly gusts blew by.
OOC: Anyone want to adopt Rowakit's littermates? As well as parents?

Ebonypaw stormed out of the medicine cat's den, eyes shining with fury. I absolutely hate leaf-bare. We're losing herbs every minute! she thought. And now Redstar and her mate just had to drag in two more mouths to feed. She absentmindedly went up to Heatherpaw, who was sitting outside the apprentices den. "Could you come with me to scavenge up some herbs? It's better if there are two of us so we can spread out and possibly find more." she meowed.

"Oh, okay." Martenpaw muttered. "I don't know, I guess it's better than them living on our territory and stealing our food."

Cloudpaw just huffed before getting up and looking around for her mentor. 

Acornwhisker kept the two kits herded together beneath her paws. "Redstar," she said softly to her mate.

Redstar's whiskers twitched at the sound of her mate's voice. She pricked her ears, showing she was listening.

Flamepaw bounded out of the apprentices den, nearly bowling into his sister, Cloudpaw. He fell into the few remains of snow from last night with a thud. He got up and shook his wet fur, sending water droplets towards Cloudpaw.

Snowfeather yawned as she woke up in the bush, and saw Darkfrost had left. She purred anyway, and she herself slipped out.

IC: Brownstep yawned as the sun rose and he left the entrance to camp, heading back into the warriors den for a nap. That was a long night.

Lilystripes watched Brownstep come in and felt her heart race, smiling to herself she bounced out the warriors' den and went around.

Rosetiger watched Lilystripes run around saying "Hello!" to everyone, and padded over. "Hey, calm down, Lily. I know you're excited but hush." she purred, a sound that rarely left her mouth.

Emberlight yawned as she got up, looking round and seeing her sisters. "Hey Littlewind, Frostflame. Seen the others yet?" she asked, looking round the warriors' den but not seeing them.

"Nope." Frostflame shrugged. "It's still early. Sootpatch is probably off with Pebblesplash and Sunstep will be somewhere round here."

Littlewind shook her head. "I don't know." she said in her quiet voice. "And don't make fun of Pebblesplash and Sootpatch, they make a cute couple."

Autumnleaf stretched out, getting out her nest. "Spookkit? Spiderkit? Batkit?" she asked, looking around the nursery for them and still blinking open her eyes.

Darkcloud yawned as she woke up. I'm too old for this. she grumbled in her mind. I wonder what Sandstone's doing right now.

Silversky yawned as she got up, and headed to the herb stores, checking them. Hm, we seem to be low on tansy and cobwebs. I'll see if we can send out some cats to find them. she thought to herself. We're low on quite a lot actually...  

OOC: Spottedleaf already roleplayed Darkfrost leaving the bush, and Ebonypaw just asked someone to go with her and collect herbs.

OOC: edited snowfeather and silver was asleep so she wouldn't know that she asked

Tawnyfrost stretched as he walked out of the warriors den, wondering what the commotion was. He saw the new kits, shaking his head.

A black sleek furred she kit poked her head from the nursery her light amber eyes peeked out before she slowly sat down outside the nursery for a moment slowly dragging one big black paw over her ginger stripe over her nose

Mistkit went back inside the nursery. "Kits aren't allowed to have ANY fun!" She exclaimed unhappily.

OOC: Also Frostflame is called for a patrol with Darkshadow, Foxpaw and Pebblesplash for hunting.

Spookkit blinked open his eyes and looked up at his mother, hidden underneath the nest, "I wanna sleep mooorrree!" He whined, digging further underneath the warm nest.

Rowankit narrowed her eyes at the stubborn kit and shrugged it off, crawling over to the entrance of the nursery. She widened her eyes in shock at the bright white  things and placed her paw inside, "OWCH!" She squeaked, quickly pulling it back in surprise of the coldness.

Sunstep slipped out the warriors den with Sootpatch right behind, both picking prey from the fresh-kill pile. Sootpatch snatched a vole and padded over to the side to munch on it while Sunstep chose a squirrel.

Cloudpaw squawked and shoved Flamepaw away. "Hey, swamp-brain!"

" Sure they can!" Stormkit giggled, leaping on Mistkit. " They have plenty of fun, beating you in battles." He meowed, batting her muzzle.

Brackenkit yawned and opened his eyes. He looked over where his sister was. "What is that stuff?"

Reedfeather woke up and blinked a few times. He let out a huge yawn then went to check on his kits. When he go there, he poked his head in. "How are my little Warriors?" He asked.

Bracken kit jumped up and down at the sight of his father. "Ready to start the day! He squeaked.

"That's great." He said to Brackenkit. "You all will grow into fine warriors and serve the clan, right?" He said challengingly

Bracken kit nodded. "Yes Reedfeather!"

Amberkit quietly came back into the nursery going to the empty best that she slept in. The she kit glanced to Reedfeather as he came in before looking to the other kits.

Mothwhisker was just waking herself as she heard Reedfeather come in. She smiled a bit and looked to Brackenkit as She blinked sleep from her eyes.

Reedfeather turned to Mothwhisker. "Good morning. How are you feeling?" He asked with a purr.

Sweetkit walked slowly over to Amberkit. "Hi Amberkit."

OOC: I think Sweet should become ambers friend.

Mothwhisker smiled a bit and purred some"I'm doing good"She mewed purring

Amberkit blinked her light amber eyes and looked at Sweetkit"hi..."She mewed.

Sweetkit swallowed nervously. She didn't know why she had spoken to Amberkit. She felt as if she should dash back to her mum. But if she did, it would make her a coward. So she summoned up her courage. "How,.. How are you?"

Rowankit mewled happily as her parents came inside the nursery. She quickly padded over to Brackenkit and pounced on him, "Whoever wins gets to be leader!" She squeaked in excitement.
