Rowankit giggled, clutching onto his belly so she wouldn't fall off, however Brackenkit being the tom, easily knocked her off. She landed with a slight thud and rolled over, quickly springing to her feet. "IT'S NOT OVER YET!" She yowled, grinning.

Flintkit stormed over to the leader's den, ready to shout. It was time for he and Sunkit to be apprentices. He unsheathed his claws, before settling down beside the den and grooming the fur on his shoulders flat.

Redstar left Acornwhisker with the two kits, and padded over to her den. She spotted Flintkit and approached him, head tilted. "Is there a problem?" she mewed.

Redstar bristled at the hostility in the kits voice. "I've had a lot going on these past few days, Flintkit. But I'll assure you that I'm making a mental note." she replied with ease.

Flintkit stared coldly at her. "You think you've been having a tough time? My mother doesn't even bother to take care of me. My best friend is stuck in the medicine den for no reason and my foster-mother's mate hates me. My apprentice ceremony is being held back for no reason and I'm alone." he hissed. "You know nothing of what I feel." he grumbled, pushing past her away to the fresh kill pile.

Redstar raised an eye at the kit, watching him walk away. "Well," she padded into her den, not bothering to talk to Flintkit about his problems.

Flintkit picked out a squirrel, before dropping it and looking through the entrance of camp, wide-eyed. He saw the open path, no one watching him. He starting running forward.

Hawkstep stood on guard at the camp entrance, but he fell asleep for a bit because he was so tired. His eyes snapped open at the sound of pawsteps. "Where do you think you're going, Flintkit?" he snarled, stepping in front of the kit.

Flintkit skidded to a stop, looking up at Hawkstep. He felt his gaze burn in Hawkstep's pelt, before he eased. "Shut up! I was getting moss for my bedding!" he lied well, his tone edged with hostility to cover it up. He tried pushing around him.

Littlelily saw Flintkit with Hawkstep. Should she go and talk to him? But the mewing of her kits called her to the nursery. She bumped pass Redfeather and glared at her. "Go get your son and say sorry, before I rip your ears off."

Redfeather hissed. "He's not as much as my son then he is yours." But she got up anyway. She hated Littlelily for taking care of her son when she could do it herself. Her temper stopped when she approached Flintkit. "Flintkit?" She asked, her voice light.

Doespring padded into the camp, dropping her mouse into the small fresh-kill pile. She froze at the scent of strangers and tasted the air. They smelled of crowfood, which made Doespring shudder inside.

IC: Redstar rested her head on her paws for a moment, getting lost in her thoughts. Finally she roused from her nest and padded outside. "I hope you've remembered the techniques. We're heading to the training grounds." she meowed, flicking her tail and bounding out of camp.

Barley looked up at Rowankit, eyes narrowed. "What are you looking at?" he fluffed up his fur to try and look scary, although he was secretly very scared of these Clan cats.

Barley curled his tail over his nose, breathing heavily as he tried to sleep. He snuggled up against his sister and felt comforted by her familiar scent, helping him fall asleep.

Milkweed tucked herself against Barley, feeling warm and safe.
