Onyx growled, turning to Jingle. "You very obviously don't listen, which is exactly what I expect when you have relatives who live in the Clans." She bared her teeth. "Shut up, or I will make sure you never speak another word."

Mochi took off her cobwebs and shook them into a pile. several wounds now showed. She nodded and ran towards BrightClan.

Snowyspirit led the patrol with silence, her tail upright and sweeping, meaning for them to spread out and keep watch. Her eyes darted from tree to tree, hating how dark FireClan's territory was.

Snowyspirit continued to remark the borders, only just scenting FireClan's familiar smell beneath the stench of rogues. She crinkled her nose and kept going.

Crabpaw spotted a jay landing on a branch a few fox lengths from him, not seeing the guards and letting out a ruckus. He tensed, tempted to chase after it, and looked to Whitefeather to see what she thought.

Crabpaw lunged forward, grabbing at the noisy bird. It shrieked and beat his face with its wings as he gripped it, making him lose his balance before he could land properly. He crashed onto the tree limb, breaking the bird's neck under his weight.

Snowyspirit shook her head, but her whiskers twitched in amusement. "Trust you to think about food while we're trapped in our territory like rabbits in a den," she snorted, going back to marking the border.

Ryu finally caught up to the group, tail lashing. He opened his jaws to test the air, gagging at the fresh scent of BrightClan cats. They were here recently. We should be careful. he thought, standing silently beside his beloved sister, Syrah. He observed Crone and Viciari, facial expression void.
